Mine is (I’ve Had) the Time of My Life, from ‘Dirty Dancing’.

It’s like nails on a chalk board and I can’t even explain why. It’s not even the worst song but it gives me rage and I always have to turn over the radio when it’s on.

Add to that any song by Anastacia, although these days she is rarely played on the radio.

I’m hoping that it’s not just me and suspect everyone has “that song” that they just cannot stand, for no rhyme nor reason. What is yours?

Alanis Morisette’s Ironic. No it isn’t!!! Rahh! Gives me the rage. That and her breathy effected singing.

Breakfast At Tiffany's. What a bloody stupid song!

Knocking On Heaven's Door by Guns 'N Roses. Well... anything by then in fact. Axl Rose is a spectacularly irritating singer in general, but the way he sings the word 'door' makes me apoplectic.

Moving’ on up by the M People. I have no idea why I object to it so much 🤣

Timber by Kesha/Ke$ha (however you spell it)- everything about it absolutely grates on me: the lyrics, the harmonica (or whatever instrument it is) tune that, for some reason to me, reminds me of a Cockerel (it starts at the beginning and goes on throughout), the rapping bits. It sounds like a proper hillbilly song, and all I can think of when I hear it is those chavvy women in the pub in short dresses and loads of makeup, stomping their heels and clutching those massive goblets of pink gin

Beyonce- Put a ring on it. 😡

Add Adele and Sam Smith into your category of utter turgidity.

Michael Jackson - Earth Song makes me cringe
Ellie Goulding - Burn (and most other songs by her tbf)
Anything at all that involves the sound of bagpipes 🤢

Someone Like You, or practically anything else by Adele.
Horrendous.

Loving You - by Minnie Riperton - with all the high pitched squealy awfulness. Goes right through me.

Ronan Keating -life is a rollercoaster. Simply Red- Fairground.

They just both go right through me, haha!

Northumbrian pipes aren't so bad. Less raucous than the Scottish ones.
