How Many Toilets Do You Have?

We had 3 in our old house which was a pain for cleaning but great generally! Now we have 1 & it sometimes drives me mad, especially as we have a teenage daughter. I would love to add another one downstairs for those desperate moments lol 🤣

Three

Bonfire23 · 15/08/2023 20:38

2 (but I live alone)

QueenPoppyTroll · 15/08/2023 20:39

4

Heyhoherewegoagain · 15/08/2023 20:39

We have 2. One upstairs, one downstairs.
We did have 3, but did away with one when we reconfigured the house

cruffinsmuffin · 15/08/2023 20:39

Four 😂 pain on the cleaning rota, especially as there's only two of us. But useful!

geminiflanagan · 15/08/2023 20:39

Currently 1, for me, DH and DD. Imminently moving somewhere with a downstairs loo and I Cannot Bloody Wait

RabbitsRock · 15/08/2023 20:39

Bonfire23 you’re spoilt for choice!

3

Burntopan · 15/08/2023 20:40

3, all of which I seem to be the only one who cleans them!

febbabies2023 · 15/08/2023 20:40

Another with 3
Although the en suite is mostly used by me
Family bathroom by DP and DS
Downstairs loo everyone

boobot1 · 15/08/2023 20:41

4, downstairs loo, bathroom and 2 x ensuites

FionnulaTheCooler · 15/08/2023 20:41
  1. It was the main reason we moved to this house, our old house only had one bathroom and it was a nightmare in the morning with everyone trying to get ready for work/school at once.
TickleMyPickle · 15/08/2023 20:41

4!
4 bed/3 bathroom townhouse.
One never really gets used though ( spare room en suite)

PuttingDownRoots · 15/08/2023 20:41

One. Same as you, would love a downstairs one! All our other houses had at least two.

I find having the only toilet in the main bathroom really annoying... it wouldn't be so bad if it was separate but thats out of fashion now.

Scottishgirl85 · 15/08/2023 20:41

4! 3 up (bathroom and 2 ensuites), 1 down.

SummerSazz · 15/08/2023 20:42

3 - me and 2 teenage DD. Works well 😂

Blanketpolicy · 15/08/2023 20:47

There are 3 of us (dh, ds(19) and me) and we have a bathroom and an ensuite which I am happy with. Would always want 2 if I had the choice but never been bothered about having or particularly keen on downstairs loos. The men of the house use and clean the bathroom and the ensuite is mostly mine.

TheDOS · 15/08/2023 20:47

16 but I haven’t been in some of them.

vinoandbrie · 15/08/2023 20:47

Seven. I know, ridiculous.

Ozziedream · 15/08/2023 20:48

5 for four people. The 5th seems excessive but that’s what the house was like when we bought it. I just chuck lots of bleach around.

Ragwort · 15/08/2023 20:48

Four - separate toilets (& bathrooms) for DH, DS & I plus a cloakroom for guests.

Poivresel · 15/08/2023 20:50

We had 4 in the old house and I was pleased to buy a house with just 2.
However I think 3 is probably the perfect number when you have guests.

Allmarbleslost · 15/08/2023 20:52

Five. One each plus a spare. I do get a bit bored of cleaning toilets.

NannyGythaOgg · 15/08/2023 20:52

3 and I live alone

It's a split level house, so main bathroom (which is tiny) is on the entry level. I have a loo and sink in a 'cupboard' on the lower ground, which is my lounge and kitchen. I don't use this one when there is anyone else here but it's great for me. And upstairs I have a decent sized bedroom, dressing/laundry room and en suite.
I had the house built in 2018, and am retired so did as much future proofing as possible
