Sorry if this has already been asked somewhere else. I wondered if we could set up a list thread for potential ticket swaps!

I have just bought 4 tickets for Edinburgh on the 7th June 2024, obviously I wouldn’t have bought them if I wasn’t happy to travel but I am in the South and any other UK stadium would be more convenient. Posting on the off chance that someone has done similar, but for another venue and Edinburgh would be preferable for them. I know it is early days for ticket sales, but putting it out there for anyone interested.

I would need to check how to do the swap above board so that both parties are covered. Potentially, we “sell” to each other via an official resale site?

Only the escrow agent need be honest.

The other party might just want to buy your tickets at £2000 above face value, nothing you can do about that, except maybe setting the premium higher.

The only problem with such a scheme is that those parents/fans who cannot afford to tie up £X000 for the time between gigs cannot use such a scheme. Just another injustice for the less well off.

If I had tickets I couldn't use I'd sell them back to ticket master and I'd sit on ticket master and try and buy them there.

Also I have only seen pairs and singles, ppl obviously take 4 even if they need 2, you cannot get stuck with these tickets so why not.

@chrisaaaaa ive bought two standing tix on there and had others at checkout. You won’t get everything but it is possible to beat the bots on occasion!

Hi @Toffeelady2401 we have 3x tickets for the 20th August at Wembley, my daughter can't go and desperately wants to find alternative tickets for any other date / location! they're pitch standing tickets and were £95 each, not sure how to swap, but would be amazing if possible

Really? Why wouldn't you just sell them via the official resell sites ie Ticketmaster and AXS Are you expecting someone to send you money then trust you to send the tickets once they are released a few days before the event.

If anyone has tickets and, for some strange reason, they don't won't to use the official resell then surely you could just sell them to friends or work colleagues. Selling or buying from strangers on social media is foolish.

I check Ticketmaster every evening and not once have I found three tickets for any U.K. or Dublin date. I don’t think anyone is reselling them!

I'm looking to swap as there's no guarantee that I'd be able to get other tickets if I sell my own, we have already tried finding others that I know who I can swap with but it isn't that easy. Plus, we're looking for later dates so we carry the most risk as our tickets become available first. We are looking to use a safe and secure way like PayPal business which we will discuss with any interested party.

Anyway, for anyone wanting to swap/sell vip tickets, another hurdle.

There aren’t even any VIP tickets for resale though? I check everyday, all venues in U.K. and Ireland for every date (except August)! I check as soon as I wake up and when I go to bed!

@Offredsrevenge There are tickets coming up constantly. You should check sporadically through the day for new listings as they go quickly.

How far before the shows are tickets likely to be ready on the app? I’m assuming the “transfer” function won’t go live until then?

I sometimes try at lunchtime but tend to be in work mode and work FT. I think it’s because I need 3 as I have 2 DC (DH would go if I could get 4 but I only ever search for 3). I never see any available though.
