Did anyone just watch Holly on This Morning when it started?

All felt very rehearsed and wooden. Josie has obviously been told to take the lead now.

I'm wondering if they will mix & match the presenters going forward, I think that would be a good idea. Then no one becomes complacent and some totally new presenters would be like a breath of fresh air.

I am not witch hunting I am asking why invade these speculations are wrong. That my luv is not a witch hunt 🤣

I am just asking the question. Why has he not been arrested? That is not a witch hunt, that is if anything questioning speculation. If it was a witch hunt I would be saying obviously he is in the wrong and Hollie is in the wrong without EVIDENCE 🙄

I would think because he has paid off MM and others upfront to deny it all and made them sign away their rights in a scary, hefty document. There is no basis for an arrest unless somebody snitches.

Didn't he say he was covering M's legal fees?

I'm sorry, but why on earth did she start with "are you OK?" Why wouldn't we be? Does she honestly think the nation has gone into some kind of mourning?!

It was so self absorbed, which was obviously the opposite note she wanted to strike. Does she really believe we all care that much.

It was like she was addressing a nation after a war. I'm sorry, I don't like a pile on, but it was honestly AWFUL. Shockingly bad.

I think “Are you OK?” does sound syrupy and patronising in extremis. I mean I don’t know Holly Willoughby, never met her. Can I answer her question tho’, since she’s asked? Is she or the ITV executives managing a helpline? How do I get through? I laughed when an MP asked an ITV executive if he was OK this morning (said executive looked confused then embarrassed as he realised it’s wry dig).

I am OK though. Just need to get dressed today.

Apparently, Holden and HW have been putting themselves forward for the same roles for years which has caused the animosity. They are both glamourous middle-aged women but I think Amanda has the cool girl edge over Holly who is too 1950s housewife and over emotional. Amanda is also friends with the Lida Faulkner-Angela Griffin- Nicola Stephenson-Geri Horner group so better connected.

AH is v intelligent I think. She’s had a difficult path & some tragedy & grafted. I like her. Why is AH hated & HW, generally pedestalised?

I agree. I have always liked AH. It is probably annoying for her that HW regards her as a rival.

If HW genuinely didn’t ‘know’ or suspect re: PS, it really doesn’t suggest an enquiring mind/journalistic bent? I am not sure HW could do humorous aside or carry a radio show. HW is v objectively beautiful I think as an aside, look at her with dark hair!

Admire AH’s fitness & discipline too. She looks v well & toned. Not easy at 50 plus.

I think they are both really beautiful. AH has more to offer as a host with her own opinions and it seems, a wider range of life experiences. She has contrived an appealing public image and shown that she has matured in her outlook, unlike HW. AH could have made it in TV without Les Dennis and that early affair but it was considered that she was handed her career by the men in her life in much the same way as HW. It is probably unfair but it has stuck anyway.

AH’s foray on Blind Date was gutsy & helped. Interesting no one says SC / Simon Cowell ‘helped’ by celeb female associates.

Interestingly, Simon C ‘launched’ himself on TV too, NB: ‘Sale of Century’ quiz show appearance, back in days of 3 channels & Fri/Sat night viewing figures of 15 million plus…

SC is clearly intelligent & sharp, has an intellect. Ditto, AH.

AH seems to have a talent for snide mockery and that's about it, remember the Susan Boyle stunt.
Going through tragedy (haven't a lot of people?) doesn't give her a stamp of verification to be unpleasant.
There's also the mocking shit shower she came up giving out our Eurovision results, "I don't know whether I'm speaking Dutch or French'. Yeah, your only being paid about 10 grand for a minute's work, why should you bother to find out?

But doesn’t HW hang out with Emma Bunton, the ones from All Saints etc?
