Did anyone just watch Holly on This Morning when it started?

All felt very rehearsed and wooden. Josie has obviously been told to take the lead now.

I'm wondering if they will mix & match the presenters going forward, I think that would be a good idea. Then no one becomes complacent and some totally new presenters would be like a breath of fresh air.

It's like she's a primary school teacher.

Very much agree that this is fluff which I’m sure is very welcome to many people who are pleased the news is looking the other way. But I spend my days doing serious stuff and here we are on MN talking about nonsense.

I watched it.

Yes it was wooden and stilted, but only because she trying really hard not to be emotional. She's normally very expressive and you could see her trying to hold it together. If she had been emotional or her usual self people would have criticised her for that as well. She can't win, and she hasn't actually done anything wrong. I think it's high time this whole trial by media and witch hunt is put to bed.

They need to axe the show. It’s a tired and jaded format. No one I know watches it apart from maybe bored housewives and OAPs.

Even I if I’m watching tv in the mornings watch BBC1.

I think a good few people might switch off now. And suppose they rebrand and do a whole new set, presenters etc and people don’t watch it as much as before? What’ll they do then? Money down the drain.

Frizzell only wants to save his skin all that twaddle about mothers working on the show. In fact it’s been great to see Eamonn (and I’m not his biggest fan) try to speak the truth on the show.

It's nothing to do with PS being gay. It's turned into a witch hunt because 'people' really really don't like him and now it's payback time for those people he's crossed over the years. If it wasnt for that other toxic cunt EH the whole thing would have died a death weeks ago. Have you heard any of PS actual friends standing up for him? HW was supposed to be his 'bestie' but even she can't bring herself to say something nice.

Put EH, HW and PS in a room, lock the door and leave them all to it.

also I think EH is heading for a complete body melt down. He's becoming a danger to himself.

I found it strange that Josie seemed to be taking the lead in most interviews today, has Holly sort of been demoted?

@GonnaGetGoingReturns oh I agree with you that the axing now would save a lot of time, money and embarrassment - but money talks and if they axe it while they still have good ratings they're risking losing a whole base of people who are still happy to watch across the channel in it's entirety. They wont axe it until they have to.

The less she talks the less opportunity there is for controversy, is my assumption.

People are picking apart everything she says and does right now.

Thinking about it @GonnaGetGoingReturns, they're probably already planning on axing it a few months down the line citing some made up reason, so Phil cant claim they couldn't continue without him and the other presenters can't blame him.

She’s complicit. We peons knew about him and the underage grooming. So did she. I remember the big confession where Phil lied to his wife and daughters for decades and how noble he was, it was trendy and pleased the powers that be to welcome this garbage with public tears and hugs. 🤮 Holly absolutely knew and condoned it. Her approval is how and why Phil got away with his behavior for so long, until the person he groomed gave it all away and proclaiming his love 🙄, then the cat was out of the bag and he had to resign.

I think she really should just go too. They were always a double act and whether she knew or not, all anyone will remember when they watch Holly is PS!

I don’t watch this morning. I think Josie is really annoying and fake. The only two I really rate are Alison and is it Dermot?
