Nice of him to dress up for the party

NutellaEllaElla · 06/05/2023 13:29

Or she used the name that English speakers, who can’t speak Welsh use

It's like calling Uluru "Ayres Rock" its not on.

Anne looked positively jolly amongst all the troops on the back lawn! I think she relishes the military aspects of her role.

Yeah, she much prefers her role.

I love Anne! So pleased she is on a horse.

Bouledeneige · 06/05/2023 13:51

Whilst his loyal subjects sit in their PJs snacking and tweeting

Anyone else wish it was Princess Anne getting crowned?

Definitely not. Out of the 4 of them, thank fuck Charles was oldest.

Bouledeneige · 06/05/2023 13:52

Aren't we supposed to be swearing our allegiance at some point?

MustardGreenAndPlum · 06/05/2023 13:52

Do you think they get a Coromoon holiday after all this? Especially at their age. I’d need 3 weeks to recover.

AutumnCrow · 06/05/2023 13:52

I've watched it on ITV.

BBC pissed me right off earlier with Huw Edwards talking over the music.

Our household went off on a tangent on security but now we are having a discussion on what would happen if the carriage with William, Kate and the kids was blown up. I'm guessing Harry and Meghan wouldn't want to take that job neither would the public. Where would the crown go next? Ann and her oldest child? End of the monarchy? I'm enjoying watching it but it feels nuts to do all of this for one person.

If Harry refused it then it's, er, Andrew! That's why they sing God Save the King with such feeling!

Bouledeneige · 06/05/2023 13:53

That was spine tingling.

PermanentTemporary · 06/05/2023 13:53

Good Lord! Thats some cheer

mixedrecycling · 06/05/2023 13:53

There was a bit in the Abbey where you could if you wanted to

Aren't we supposed to be swearing our allegiance at some point?

That was much earlier! when the Archbishop was speaking he invited everyone to do it

spottybug · 06/05/2023 13:53

MushMonster · 06/05/2023 13:42

I wish they had stopped for a few seconds by the Cenotaph.

I think once they get going its difficult to halt everyone like that. The carriages loose momentum

MushMonster · 06/05/2023 13:53

Bouledeneige · 06/05/2023 13:52

Aren't we supposed to be swearing our allegiance at some point?

We are not in the army......
Is this a thing?

nidgey · 06/05/2023 13:53

Charles looks a bit unwell, no?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 06/05/2023 13:53

Goose pimples again

Casuaala · 06/05/2023 13:53

Aren't we supposed to be swearing our allegiance at some point? Err, they did that a couple of hours ago.

Must've been in the loo. Maybe I'll make it for the next coronation

scrivette · 06/05/2023 13:54

Love that they do the three cheers!

polkadotdalmation · 06/05/2023 13:54

They all look a lot happier now.

AutumnCrow · 06/05/2023 13:54

Will we the hunky equerry again?

It's like calling Uluru "Ayres Rock" its not on.

I imagine you say España, Italia, Polska etc. you should probably advise the Spanish, Italian and Polish not to call England Inglaterra, Inghilterra, Anglia etc.
