Just listening to a Spotify playlist and Time After Time came on... That line

It just always gives me a little well of emotion. My son needs me so much, I think it's just that feeling of need to be there.

Have a DD and the words are so true, the thought that she's growing up and away from me we were besties when she was 3 

Gets to me every time😢...... And I've got no daughters, three sons, 🤷 tried to analyse why it gets to me but I can't, although the tune is very emotive too🎶😭

Lost my brother 6 years ago to suicide, and that verse always reminds me of his passing. Knowing he made his choice, and is now at peace. But wishing he could still be the star in my sky.

This was no 1 the day my eldest ds Jack was born.. He was born 26 weeks into my pregnancy and we lost him two hours later.. 💔 💔 💔 💔

This song came out the same time as I had ds2 (W)
After losing ds1 I had a rather bumpy pregnancy with ds2 who arrived two weeks early and quite small.. I was taken ill two hours after having him. Black vomit and black diorrehea... W was taken away and I was put in one of the rooms which I had been in when I lost ds1... I eventually got W back the next morning. I lay in bed looking at him in his goldfish bowl and Forever Love came on the radio.... I was an absolute sobbing wreck...
