Just listening to a Spotify playlist and Time After Time came on... That line

"If you fall I will catch you, I will be waiting. Time after time."

It just always gives me a little well of emotion. My son needs me so much, I think it's just that feeling of need to be there.

There are so many lyrics that get me no matter how many times I hear them.... What are yours?

1000 times this. I want to go to Easter Road and experience the Hibs fans belting it out (I'm not a Hibs fan). What a song.

Our youngest will die before they reach adulthood, this came on after a very happy night with fireworks, he was so enamoured with them it made me cry with joy.
When I heard this lyric, it hit me that there will be a day that comes where I have to watch them without him.

In terms of lyrics resonating, Kacey Musgrave's "Happy and Sad" encapsulates so many of the confused thoughts I had when I was younger in particular, sometimes now too, feeling overwhelmed with happiness with the sharp twinge of fear that comes with that.

I well up every time I hear it, it reminds me of my dad and how he supported me when I was sectioned and to keep going however dark things seem. If I’m having a bad day or wobble I listen to it and it gives me a boost of hope

Well this is one that gets me every time- because it fills me with rage! Always a woman to me -Billy Joel. How any sensible man could want to be with a woman that annoying enrages me at every hearing. The tiresome attention seeking drama queen is well overdue a slap in the face with a wet fish.

Same, it's gorgeous! I once had the chance to party backstage with The Flaming Lips at one of their gigs years ago and I turned it down because I was fairly drunk and I thought it'd be cooler to say no than to go. Still kick myself about that!

Have a DD and the words are so true, the thought that she's growing up and away from me Sad we were besties when she was 3 Grin

Gets to me every time😢...... And I've got no daughters, three sons, 🤷 tried to analyse why it gets to me but I can't, although the tune is very emotive too🎶😭
