So true. I'm not bisexual, but I wish I was. Truth is, a lot of men (probably the majority) don't like women. They desire them, and they need them, but they don't like them. I often feel men just want women to shut up. Men don't like talking for the sake of it. And deep down, they long for the days when men called the shots, and women were pretty much second class. Why wouldn't they? I've known plenty of men who claim to be feminists. In reality, they just want sex, and they know that they need to say the right things, and behave in the right way, to get a woman into bed. I swear that's the reason so many western men have a thing about asian girls. They like idea of a docile, obedient Thai or Japanese girl, who keeps quiet, treats them like a king, does what they say, etc. (I'm sure many Thai Japanese women are not like that, but that's the fantasy.)
Didn't Freud believe we're all bisexual? I suppose it's possible that sexuality is socially conditioned. Maybe, when homosexuality really is fully accepted, and two men feel comfortable kissing and holding hands in public, etc, things will begin to shift, and more men and women will be open to homosexual relationships. I'm sure it would make society happier, gentler and kinder.
