Be honest: does this dress look like a towel?

I bought a dress online that I had been thinking about for months. It will arrive in a couple of days. It was very expensive.

However, I showed it to my friends and everyone says that it looks like a towel Shock

Be honest: is it awful? Does it look like a towel to you?

If you're dark skinned, tall and thin I think it would look great. But not for that price. And probably only on holiday.

two hundred quid! It looks like something from shein. It doesn’t look like a holiday dress either tbh. If you’re going somewhere very hot you’ll want something floaty. Close fitting in tropical temps are sweaty.

It looks like a towel except that all my towels are a lot bigger than that! Face wash cloth would be closer.

In the instagram picture the model looks, as my mother would charmingly put it, like a bag of rags tied up in the middle.
