Be honest: does this dress look like a towel?

I bought a dress online that I had been thinking about for months. It will arrive in a couple of days. It was very expensive.

However, I showed it to my friends and everyone says that it looks like a towel Shock

Be honest: is it awful? Does it look like a towel to you?

It definitely doesn’t look expensive.
And yes, more of a hot water bottle vibe.
BUT wait til gets here now and see if you love it.
It’s the fabric not the style. Fabric is a bit odd.

Oh dear OP - yes it does look like a towel. But you might be the one person who makes it not look like a towel, so it's worth a try!

I’m sure it would look v nice on you but it does look a bit like a dress you’d make out of a piece of flannel for a barbie when you’re little.

Do you have any holidays planned ?
I think it would look fine round the beach or pool as a cover up .But really all that matters is you like it ?

It does. Where were you going to wear it? On a really expensive beach holiday with some pretty gold jewellery it would work. (Disclaimer - I've never really been on an expensive beach holiday, I'm just imaging what people would wear)

Yes I am going to an island in 2 weeks so I thought that that'd be a good outfit for evenings, I may have to rethink though 🫠
