Be honest: does this dress look like a towel?

I bought a dress online that I had been thinking about for months. It will arrive in a couple of days. It was very expensive.

However, I showed it to my friends and everyone says that it looks like a towel Shock

Be honest: is it awful? Does it look like a towel to you?

It is better on you than on the models, but yes, still a towel. If it were 20 pounds I'd keep it for beside the pool, but not at the price you paid.

I'd maybe keep it, if it costed a more reasonable amount. But there is no way this is worth the money I paid for it.

This is the pertinent bit, if it had been a 'cheap & cheerful' coverup for beach to cafe, yes, it would've been great, but it's not worth the money you paid for it.
