Be honest: does this dress look like a towel?

I bought a dress online that I had been thinking about for months. It will arrive in a couple of days. It was very expensive.

However, I showed it to my friends and everyone says that it looks like a towel Shock

Be honest: is it awful? Does it look like a towel to you?

I may be really old fashioned but I have one of those in fuschia pink that sits around the base of my toilet......yes.....looks like a towell, sorry OP x

Sorry hit send too soon. It's the exact same colour as my bath sheet so I could replicate that look for around 15 quid.

I wouldn’t have thought towel unless you’d put that thought in my head. But it does look a bit cheap. You can probably find that on PLT for £8.

It takes quite a lot for a dress to look bad on a model, but this somehow pulls it off. Interesting that it doesn’t actually fit any of the women in your pics, OP - it might be that if your figure is a bit fuller and with more bust, that it would fit correctly and you’d pull it off. But it does still look more bathroom than ballroom.

If you have a spectacular figure with huge, gravity-defying breasts, and amazing posture, it would probably look great. But then - literally anything would. (And also, I don't want to be your friend.)
