Be honest: does this dress look like a towel?

I bought a dress online that I had been thinking about for months. It will arrive in a couple of days. It was very expensive.

However, I showed it to my friends and everyone says that it looks like a towel Shock

Oh lovely hope you have a fab time .
I think it could definitely work as a holiday dress ,but I would say it looks more suitable for daytime over a bikini with some flip flops maybe

I like it. A beach holiday will perfectly fine.

It looks like one of those microfibre towels you buy to wrap your hair in after a shower to make it dry quicker.

I think it's lovely! Anyway, you obviously really like it to pay that much so why let other people's opinions put you off.

I think it’s cute and would be a lovely holiday dress. Just maybe with heels and a nice bag and not flip flops!

It looks like one of those shaped mats that grannies had in 1970’s to go round the lavatory base.

The shape, the colour and texture is very bathroom mat .

Yep a micro fibre one and super unflattering on the chest in the second pic 😂

£125! It looks cheap and badly made that hem is appalling. I assumed it was cheap tat from Boohoo.

I really like it. Perfect holiday dress with heels. I like textured fabric and the colour is nice too. I’m definitely in the minority though!

It does but… so what! It might look nicer in real life. Also you liked it until everyone commented. If you have a figure as good as any of those women you’d still look fabulous, even if it’s not my style.

I am certain would have worn something like that on holiday when I was young and thin (1980s😅) but I would have bought it in Primark or somewhere similar for pennies. I can't believe the price.

You could look fab and have a smear free finish to your hard surfaces all at the same time Grin definite microfibre vibe for me.

I like it. Assuming you are young and slim and glamorous. wear it, you are only young once.

On me it would look like a support stocking.

Yes it looks like a towel.if you had told me it was £5 from Primark I would have believed you without question (and secretly wondered why on earth you had paid £5 for it)

My gran had an avocado bathroom suite with mats at the bath and pedestal sink in that colour.
How can they get away with charging £££ for an elongated boob tube?
It would be fine as a beach cover. I'd happily wear it as a holiday dress too if the fabric was different.
