I concur @Ginmonkeyagain. Also, heat death of the universe.
Today for your delectation I offer something that at least has a vegetarian friendly option.
A Malaysian Indian specialty: banana leaf rice.
When you sit down at your table, a banana leaf is placed in front of you. Immediately, the “basic” items are ladled onto your leaf - rice, poppadoms, fresh vegetable pickles and a couple of vegetable curries. Additionally, a communal vat of dhal and another basic curry (metal pots) is provided for the table.
Then a slightly alarming procession of waiters surround you, offering “extras” such as chicken rendang, mutton curry, fried fish, grilled curried squid, marinated quail etc. (You may have to fend them off quite firmly if you don’t want a tower of extras).
Then you slather your rice with the provided sauces and dig in. Traditionally you eat this with your hand. (I don’t usually because turmeric stains are a bugger to get out of fingernails). Top ups of rice and poppadoms are freely available if you are a bottomless pit like my brother.
When you have finished, you fold your banana leaf away from you, in half along its spine.
