Styles which you just don't get or like!

Just that really, and just a bit of a light hearted rant!

I will admit that in the past I have worn both of these things so I get why people where them and I'm not directing it at anyone individually!
BUT I just cannot bare false eyelashes or really long hair extensions. They both just look SO uncomfortable, I
don't know how anyone can really relax wearing them.
Especially the look when half the eyelashes have fallen off and there are just massive clumps of lashes left 😳😳😳😳 I just do not get it it! Whhhhyyyyy do people do this?!

Mom jeans…they don’t flatter anyone.

The long Amish/Victorian looking dresses I've seen all the mums wearing at the school gates atm.

Culottes - especially flared ones that end below the knee.

Also the fake everything look.

The no bra trend. I would not be comfortable with all that jiggling!

Not really a trend but I hate tights where one leg is a different colour to the other. Just screams ‘I’m so quirky and crazy me!’

White stiletto boots, which puts me in a minority apparently! Can't see the attraction at all, on anyone.

I wear magnetic lashes everyday and they're comfortable and never fall off, so much easier than constantly applying mascara which then looks lumpy! They make my eyes look fantastic and I feel good, that's what its all about isn't it?
I always have acrylic nails which mamy don't like. Never had hair extentions.

I have never understood thongs! I lasted a minute in them when I tried one on 😆

The whole trousers flapping round your ankles thing. I know shorter trousers have been in fashion for years now so I'll be the only one but can't help always thinking people have bought the wrong length!

False lashes that are clumpy and full of crust. I love falsies but I'd never wear them until they were crusty. Yet seems quite common at the school gates.

Certain leopard print is classy and gorgeous but SOME leopard prints out there are hideous and look nasty.

I don't understand long line gilets. Yet. 😆 I'll happily be converted...

That said, just because I don't understand or like the look of it doesn't mean it's crap. I just wouldn't style myself like that.

Jumpsuits. I can't understand the getting undressed to have a wee .

Oversized sweatshirts/jumpers. I don't like how they look and the one time I did wear one I wasn't even warm because it was so flappy it felt like all the cold air was going right into it!

@ChaToilLeam I agree! How do people do anything with incredibly long nails?! Surely you’d live in fear of breaking them, and they get in the way of almost any activity.

less don’t like, than just don’t get (and find quite amusing) is teenage DS’s obsession with socks. They have to be the right kind of ugly white socks and there has to be the maximum amount visible at all times.

even more unfathomable is that he’s always been a sock hater. And still removes his shoes and socks the instant he gets in the house.

also the mullet thing. He’s not grown one. But so many of his friends have. I kind of want him to. Because just think of the photos for the future. 🤣

In terms of women’s styles, I can’t understand fake nails at all. The thought of wearing them fills me with horror. It’s a big sensory thing for me. I just couldn’t. Inker mine short, unpainted (and generally not impressive in any way) because I can’t cope with anything else. So it’s more a personal
thing than anything else.

Anything with those big puffy shoulders or a peplum. I swear that peplum tops or dresses aren't flattering on anybody.
