Just wanted to say how elegant & these women are. They're not in the spotlight as much but they loved their grandmother & grandfather. I'm sure they are very proud of the lovely women they have grown into.

All the Royal women looked fabulous yesterday. I feel sorry for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie having Andrew as a parent. I think in time when Duke of Gloucester and Duke of Kent might retire and as King Charles and Princess Anne age a bit more King Charles might agree to allow Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindell and even Lady Louise work for the firm on a one in one out basis. As one retired, they are substituted by a younger royal.

About the Queen's favourite thing. I think it more likely Louise and James born when Queen and Prince Philip stopped going oversees as often and they lived 20 mins away from the Queen at Windsor.

Louise is 19 in a matter of weeks, same age as Diana when she began being reported about here, there and everywhere.

Peter definitely went to a local playgroup. He and a little friend took all the hats from the dressing up box once and filled them with sand from the sand tray!

Zara Tindell won an Olympic silver medal for equestrian and was unlucky the previous Olympics as she had qualified when her horse went lame so she could not compete.

They are both dressing slightly better. Scoop neck tops would help hugely though.

I am envious of Beatrice's hair I have to say. Her heels were too high though yesterday, and she has trouble walking on those cobbles

Zara Tindall to me doesn't look like a Royal at all - but she seems the most accesible

Beatrice is really nice, I knew her when I was younger.

Lady L will come into her looks in a few years times

If it’s not weird to say, James Wessex is going to be a very handsome man. Sorry, not being creepy.

Agree that Fergie never looked good and wore awful clothes. But if you look at old photos of Diana, she wore some shocking 80s outfits too but got away with it because she was so tall and slim. I have met Kate in real life, she is mesmerisingly thin. Even Megan Markle looks fat next to her.

People rave about Zara and Peter Philips. I’m sure they’re very nice and all but they live the lives of Riley thanks to their royal status. They didn’t need the titles!

Ugh, I hate how these discussions focus on their looks, weight, frame, sense of style etc..

It is so superficial and very often downright judgey and unkind.

These people don't even get a say in being in the public eye.

How would posters criticising these girls and young women like it if people analysed your daughter's looks, body and outfit at her school prom?

The last couple of times I've seen Zara at events I've thought 'Wow'. She's really grown into her looks and is absolute proof that youth does not always equal beauty (although she was always pretty). Now at 41 she is stunning!

Zara has looked stunning recently but more often than not she's worn absolute horrors. I am so envious of her skin, it's amazing.

I wondered if Andrew Parker Bowles was there. he had a long distinguished military career and remains close to the Royal Family. He went to Charles and Camilla's wedding and had an official role at Charles's first wedding!

I saw Kate's parents Carole & Michael were in attendance, Carole looked beautiful.

And knew Princess Anne very well back in the day (allegedly).

I went to university with her. Had lots of coffees with her. Very nice, genuine and down to earth. I don't have anything negative to say about her

OP it's interesting what you say about Beatrice looking tiny and very attractive in RL. My sister worked with Fergie years ago and said she was the most beautiful woman she had ever met. Like Beatrice she had amazing skin and hair and was really healthy looking and had a normal body. This doesn't necessarily come across in photos. In contrast, I have seen Kate Middleton in RL and she looks quite gaunt, though she photographs very well.

I actually have a soft spot for Beatrice and Eugenie. They seem to be lovely young ladies and really want to do the right thing.
Marriage and motherhood have definitely been the making of them.

I liked that Beatrice introduced herself in this clip from the recent Jubilee - she didn't just assume someone would know her.
