Just wanted to say how elegant & these women are. They're not in the spotlight as much but they loved their grandmother & grandfather. I'm sure they are very proud of the lovely women they have grown into.

Anyone agree?

Doesn't look like it.

Zara - yes. But that's her mother's influence.

I'm pleased to see that the York girls have learned to dress better, at last. They went through a stage of looking quite bizarre.
Mind you that's wasn't surprising when their mother used to dress like an East End barmaid that had won the Lottery.

Zara had a good role model from the start.

Yes Beatrice & Eugenie were vilified in the press after K&W's wedding in 2011. Their style has improved so much, Beatrice is especially stunning.
Zara always looks fantastic, very confident & elegant. But as @Eyesopenwideawake has said Anne is a great role model.

I’ve always been very fond of Zara, and admire her style and general demeanour. The York sisters.. well realistically they’ve only just got their act together style-wise, elegant they most certainly were not.

I think the criticism was as much due to their beautiful but unfashionably hourglass body shapes as their clothes. Both have the Queen’s tiny waist/big bosom.
Their post on Instagram to their Grannie was very touching.
Zara is v likeable, I think Anne is great and Zara is like her.

I like their portrayal in the Windsors.

I felt for Beatrice yesterday as she left the service in Windsor with her husband & mum. I saw Beatrice in Harrords shopping last Christmas, she is very petite in real life & very striking. DH also commented on how pretty she was in real life. She looks very rich if that makes sense?!

I thought all the Royal women looked amazing yesterday. Very smart and elegant

I’ve always thought Princess Beatrice looks like Queen Victoria.
Everybody looked very elegant and dignified yesterday I thought.

I like all three of them . Zara has always been very classy and likeable, and Beatrice / Eugenie have sort of grown into it.

Beatrice auctioned her wedding hat for charity which I think shows a sense of humour.

The royals can't win on fashion- if they dress safely they get called boring, if they wear anything out of the ordinary they get villified (and in a way which is completely out of proportion to the "crime" of dressing out of the ordinary).

Yes they did, Camilla, Meghan, Kate, Sophie, Anne, Lady Louise also... Not forgetting Charlotte. All so dignified, appropriate & elegant.

That's a very good way of putting it re Beatrice & Eugenie they have grown into their looks & features, their style has evolved.
When I spotted Beatrice in Harrords she looked so understated & immaculate. She was dressed smartly & very understated in a wool dress, tights & boots but her thick hair & perfect understated makeup screamed wealth. She is very recognisable.

I am always amazed how neat Charlotte looks. My own DD would look like she had been dragged through a forest backwards by the time she had walked from the car to the church.

Mine too & she would have given me a running commentary through the service 😩

Beatrice and Eugenie took some awful flack from the press about their hats, clothes, holidays etc. Beatrice turned things around and auctioned off the "toilet seat" hat for charity. I watched a programme about them a couple of years ago and they seem to have matured into lovely young women who have quietly got on with marriage and motherhood. Shame about the parents though!!
Although I've always been a secret admirer of Fergie, she keeps battling on and has a great sense of humour 😀

@Georgeskitchen I do think Fergie would be great fun at a dinner part.. Randy Andy not so much.

Zara is brilliant and so is her mum (and I am decidedly NOT a monarchist).

I don't really have an opinion on the York sisters, TBH, apart from that it must be pretty hellish having Andrew as their dad.

Zara doesn’t have to work as a Royal. Doesn’t have a Royal title BUT gets to live on the amazing state gifted to her mother by the Queen. They have an easy easy life and ridiculous amount of wealth and don’t work for it.

I believe if the King asked Eugenie and Beatrice to work for the Royal family they would as they’ve wanted to in the past but are not part of the slimmed down Royal family partly to do with who their father is too.

Why does thick hair scream wealth? Do rich women not lose their hair?

I actually think B&E seem like they'd be really likable IRL.

OK some of their clothes are unusual but so what? They were always appropriate, they clearly liked them and always looked comfortable and confident. Kate, Zara and Meghan always look well dressed and elegant but... predictable.

If the worse thing you can say about someone is they wear daft hats, then I reckon they are doing alright.

I LOVE how happy and excited E looked when she was getting married.
