That’s Queen consort, of course, but that idea is going to take a lot of getting used to.

Could never have imagined it 25 years ago, however, Charles adores her and she is also loved by Harry and William. That’s all that matters.

I'm used to it.

I'm glad her 73 year old son has a woman he loves by his side as he grieves his mother whilst taking on the role of Head of State (regardless of how I feel about living with a monarchy).

I remember all the uproar years ago and people saying she should never be Queen and Camilla herself saying she would not be Queen, but that was all a long time ago now and people don't seem bothered any more. Personally I don't mind what she calls herself, but she is the wife of the King and is allowed to use that title.

It does sound very strange saying The King after 50 years (for me) of saying The Queen.

I'll still be saying Charles.

I imagine it will take a while to sort them out. Yes its hard to imagine when you are used to seeing The Queen on the coin and stamps

They don't scrap all the money, stamps etc that are currently in circulation but when new ones are minted/printed they will have the king on them. I can remember coins with previous monarchs on them as a child and I'm only in my 40's. Coins stay in circulation for a long time.

Queen Consort is the title given to the wife of a King.

You either have to be a queen in your own right (Elizabeth I, Victoria and Elizabeth II) or have a coronation so you rule as equals with the King. Most Kings don't like to share that "power".
