What’s an instant turn off for you in a man/woman?

Why do people on these threads say things like bad breath or body odour... surely no one likes those things in a partner? It's a given. It's more interesting to read about the random things that some people would love but some people would hate.

cheeky chappies
ostentatious white cars
driving like a wanker
shit taste in music
crap ubiquitous tattoos

If I had to select a MNer I would say this kind of nitpicking is an instant turn off.

Anything that indicates more than a passing interest in football.
Beards
Excessive muscles/six pack type men
Shaved head unless they've done it because they've unavoidably gone bald

Racism
Sexism
Body fascist
Car fanatic
Tattoos
Poor hygiene
No sense of humour

Smoking
Doesn’t believe in tipping/rude to wait staff
Sulks
Freaky eater
Inconsiderate driver

First impressions being fat, or looking like they smell, or being rude/unpleasant.
Second impressions not liking animals, not having a good sense of humour and not having much intelligence.

Being incapable

Dirty fingernails (unless temporary from gardening etc)

Having a dog that's bred to be unhealthy brachycephalic breeds etc, or a designer cat stuck indoors in case it gets stolen and claiming to be an animal lover

Monologuing

Fussy eating- obv people can have their preferences but if it starts to rule out a majority of places you can eat/ dishes you can cook

Having a wandering eye

Smoking, racist, sexist, homophobic, or woke, arrogant, negging and tight-fisted.

Bad hygiene and unkempt appearance - long straggly hair and beard .

Rude to serving staff/speaks down to people.

Tight with money.

Far left or right political views.

Weird gait.

Doesn't like animals.

Sexist.

Any hint of creepy behaviour/being a pervert.

Poor dress sense.

Tries to be in with the cool gang.

Refers to themselves as a nerd or geek when they are anything but.

Pasty, unhealthy skin.

Someone who has an intelligence level that is a lot lower than mine. I'm not the most intelligent person ever, but I like to be able to have in depth conversations with someone who is interesting and has things to say. I once had a few dates with a Mr England finalist and he was absolutely drop dead gorgeous to look at but he just had nothing to say and didn't understand sarcasm and I couldn't fancy him.

The driving thing is two things for me:
I find driving gives me a sense of independence and freedom and want a partner to be those things to.
and yes I don’t want to drive my husband places like I’m his mum

Meanness. Not just financially but inability to share generally.

Facial hair
Facial piercing. Earrings just about ok.. but nose lips brow tongue just ick .. never seen any human male or female where a stud in any of the above enhanced their attractiveness.

Tattoos on face or neck

Inability to be polite to service persons. Waiters, train staff, cleaners etc

Poor hygiene.

Men who make a big thing of being cynical about everything because they think it makes them look clever

Narrow interests and not interested in widening horizons

Any hint of being a tightarse. (Not that a bloke would have to be loaded but someone who was a stinge would put me right off.)
Wearing sandals. Keep your feet the fuck away from me.
Poor personal hygiene.
Impractical and incapable of even basic household DIY.
Beardy.
Incapable of cooking a meal.

To be fair these would annoy me about anyone, not just a potential partner!

I don't like beards or facial hair much, especially a moustache with no beard. And i am not keen on a man bun. Seems like it's all about the hair for me
