How many pizzas would you have ordered?

Following a tense situation this evening I though I'd consult the hive mind.

Friday night dinner for 6 adults - how much would you expect you'd need to order?

(Dominoes/Pizza Hut style pizza)

Ok I've found my people
Yes I'm the BF travelling mother so perhaps a larger appetite than normal.

The original order was 1x medium & 1x personal sized pizza plus a little 4 slice garlic bread.
After much prodding an extra medium pizza was added.
What boggles my mind is that the order was made by a man who always orders a mixed grill in restaurants if available on the menu so it's not like he has a small appetite!

I'm in bed with the baby, I've just text DH who's downstairs to go get me a subway

3 large with some wedges as sides and a big, homemade salad

I have stopped being able to take any salad comments serious

3 large pizzas, plenty of onion rings and chips as sides and definitely desserts!

4 (maybe 5 given the lack of lunch) and lots of sides, garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread or flatbread, nachos and any sides my guests fancied!

Is it going to be one pizza between everyone

I’m going to take a guess that OPs DH ordered 3 pizzas, no sides. She thinks he should have ordered more and, in particular, that she should have had a pizza to herself because she missed lunch and is BF’ing. Am I right OP?!?

Me and DH usually have 1 medium pizza and 2 sides between us,

If I was ordering for a group though I’d probably get 4 large and 4-5 sides maybe? And some warm cookies for after or something. I normally always ask what people want though so never have to guess.

I'd order 3 large pizzas - but then it might be just as cheap to order 4. Plus couple of sides.

I'm astounded people would order 6 large pizzas. I'm not skinny at all but half a pizza is plenty.

Clearly not enough! I order two (plus sides) for five so would reckon on three (plus sides) for six. A few slices and bits of sides leftover.

That is ridiculous - 3 as a minimum half a pizza each but that is a silly order

@op I think you need to call 101 for advice. It's not quite a 999 call, but honestly I think these people should be arrested. This is torture to read. I hope you get a lovely subway. Meatballs? Italian bmt?

I feel like from their comments the OP is one of the ones who've travelled ages and is breastfeeding or pregnant so starving and the pizza buyer is her mother in law who thought a Dominos Personal Pizza would feed 6 with leftovers.

Seriously OP, that's crap. Hope your DH is gone for your subway. I was ravenous in the early months of BFing, and even now I've stopped that wouldn't be enough food.
