How many pizzas would you have ordered?

Following a tense situation this evening I though I'd consult the hive mind.

Friday night dinner for 6 adults - how much would you expect you'd need to order?

(Dominoes/Pizza Hut style pizza)

He’s ordered for two. Sounds tight

They are huge.

3 large or 4 large if there are a couple of big eaters. I struggle to eat half of a large pizza.

Ok I've found my people Yes I'm the BF travelling mother so perhaps a larger appetite than normal.

The original order was 1x medium & 1x personal sized pizza plus a little 4 slice garlic bread.
After much prodding an extra medium pizza was added.
What boggles my mind is that the order was made by a man who always orders a mixed grill in restaurants if available on the menu so it's not like he has a small appetite!

I'm in bed with the baby, I've just text DH who's downstairs to go get me a subway

I don’t think I’ve read anything so unreasonable in my life. It should be 3 large MINIMUM and preferably 4! With sides!

But how do such traumatic incidences occur?

If I am with friends and we're getting pizza.. the person ordering asks who wants what and we work out from that, based on how hungry everyone is, how much they'd normally eat etc.

How do you sit there and NOT say 'er no that's not enough, we'll all eat far more than that...' whilst it's being sorted out?

Omg. I was going to say 3-6 pizzas plus sides. Essentially depending on what toppings people wanted and how hungry!

Bit late to the party but one chicken pizza would feed everyone with leftovers for meals later in the week?

I would done half a large pizza person, sides and cookies and ice cream, knowing that some people me wouldn't eat as much as half a pizza but others would!

Ok so to answer some questions... 2 males, 4 females (one BFing) No drinking involved 2 have spent the day travelling to destination and the person ordering is aware they missed lunch

Normally I'd say 3-4 mediums between 6 seems enough. No sides they are always shit.

One large is about 1.5 x the size of a medium so could do 2 larges and a medium t
