How many pizzas would you have ordered?

Following a tense situation this evening I though I'd consult the hive mind.

Friday night dinner for 6 adults - how much would you expect you'd need to order?

(Dominoes/Pizza Hut style pizza)

3 large - based on 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 tween just about finishing 2 large and a medium last weekend. We don't do sides in this house!

The sides are the best bit! 😀🤣

I'd have said 3 plus sides, but with extra info I'd make it 4 and 2 large tubs of Ben N Jerry's!

4 pizzas, 4 sides, assuming no dessert.

What did they get? I'm now very keen to find out.

3 if Pizza Hut deep pan, 4 if dominos as don't seem as filling. 6 if thin crust. All large plus sides

Four plus a bunch of sides I think! DH can eat a large to himself

There’s not one right answer. Depends how big and how greedy everyone is! My tall broad DP would want a large to himself. I’d eat three slices maybe. So it depends.

I think 1 large and a side dish. A slice of pizza from one of those large pizzas is enormous and would fill me up for ages, adding a few wedges to it would do me until lunchtime the next day

Well, for me, just the smell is a meal in itself... No wonder we have an obesity crisis when people eat one slice of pizza AND some wedges.

4 large, 2x 24 strippers, 1x wedges and a few dips.

@Whattodoniw I usually eat a massive salad of a few little gem lettuce leaves, 2/3 tomatoes and 1/4 inch of cucumber during the day which leaves me feeling pretty full for dinner tbh, so a slice of pizza would push me over the edge

Might have an extra glass of water if I’m feeling really gluttonous
