Schools closed tomorrow due to weather

Anyone else? We are in the SW. Meant to be pretty windy tomorrow..

North Cornwall, schools are closed. I am more worried about the power going out..

Yes but I mean national yard stick for what to do of course area's with no huge threat should remain normal.
Where I am one place is closed whilst a few miles away another is open And planning outdoor activities still

Schools closed in Gloucestershire, tidal wave expected from
River Severn.

Gwynedd & Anglesey so half term is one day early.

Amber warning here and all schools open up to now.
I'm dreading it!

A couple of high schools closed here on Isle of Wight

S Cornwall here, and the schools have closed , with the kids set online work. Which will be tricky if the power goes off...🤔

Where do you get the info for the Bucks schools?

The council webpage for school closures only seems to show the current day. I know lots in Aylesbury have closed but that's not showing on the website.

I'm hoping ours will close. The roads to the village are tree lined and I don't feel comfortable with the risk.

We’ve just had Storm Dudley in the North yesterday. No school closures here. Just got on with it....

Wow. The whole of the North is just amazing.

We're in Bristol and our schools are closed tomorrow.

It’s half term anyway.

Our half-term is next week.

The email I had from the county council this afternoon says all school transport has been cancelled for tomorrow morning, so if you rely on it and your school hasn’t chosen to close, it’s worth knowing about.

I'm a teacher at the junior school and still open so far!

My eldests school had an inset day anyway, but toddlers nursery has asked we keep our kids off unless they need to be at nursery tomorrow. SE England

My school in Cheltenham is closed. Poor kids having to do online lessons though. Very last minute for the teachers to prepare! I’d prefer an old fashioned snow day, but I guess the kids have missed enough.

I suspect parts of the county will be without electricity, so it might well end up being moot.

Four children at four different schools, bloody hell I feel sweaty just thinking about it

I can’t remember a time when schools have closed because a storm has been forecast can anyone else?
Obviously snow days happen most years but not storms.
