Camilla to be Queen

I think I’m happy with this (not that’s it’s any of my business). She’s clearly made Charles very happy and has fitted into the family well.
Good for her, it’s deserved.

Surely she will be Queen Consort, not Queen Monarch? That has always been the case. Or has the constitution changed? I haven't seen this anywhere, is there a link?

Because it's the (eve of?) her jubilee so she made the announcement as part of that.

Disgusting. I would vote for a republic long before I accept Camilla as Queen of England.

Hopefully this will stop the speculation about Comilla’s title when Charles ascends the throne . Issuing this statement shows HM’s wishes.

I doubt if there will ever be a vote about that . Also she will be Queen of more than England !

Princess Consort would be unusual and a break from tradition. I am not keen on Charles or Camilla tbh, but we are where we are.

I think that's only right (and I say this as someone who liked the late Princess of Wales).

She's done a lot of good work (sadly not reported on enough) on various causes including domestic abuse.

Apparently she is a wonderful support to the Queen and a very good DIL so of course ahe should be queen consort if we have. monarch! After all the current system is based on a randy old perv who lopped the head off his current wife when he spotted someone new!

It's normal for a big Sunday story and is part of her ascension statement. I think Camilla is great. Always seems interested in what she's at. Picks interesting causes.
