How do so many female celebs in their late 40s and early 50s look so fab?

I am thinking Appleton sisters , Melanie Sykes , Victoria B, Liz Hurley , Amanda Holden ..

How at a time when they must be peri or menopausal do they look so young and slim?

They have the money to indulge in extensive self care or they get work done (e.g botox).

Who are you comparing them to?

If it's in comparison to the regular woman with no/little money, staff, access to some of the top cosmetic care and treatments, personal trainers, dietician, well yes they look 'fab'.

Compared to their peers, they look just about right with the level of competition that goes on.

They eat very very little. They have money and access to good beauty treatments and aesthetics.

Their job is to look good. It's not even money it's time - hours and hours to spend working out, getting facials, hair done, nails, tan etc. That's what they spend their time doing.

Lots of constant low level work, eg micro needling, lift facials, cavitation, etc as well as minor facelifts, liposculpture etc. Personal trainers and very strict low carbing.

No comment on their looks, but there are plenty of women that age who are slim.

I just mean that you have to do so much more to look nice as you get to the age so they must do LOADS of work

Yes, I understand what you mean. That's what I believe it to be too. Time, people to help them do it, and money (both personal and being paid to look a certain way).

I think it's their job too look good, so time at gym, beauty treatments etc are literally part of the job.
I'd go to the gym if the size of my arse limited my work options.

Oops ! I think Melanie Sykes looks great and she works out a lot. She like toned to me not skinny

Googled Melanie Sykes too. I can see different pictures - some, where she looks fine and a few, where she looks quite...skinny (Just looking at her arms).

I think the skinny photos were the "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" ones. On the whole, she looks alright. Can't see any other pictures of her looking 'skeletal'.

If you're going by photos alone they could be airbrushed. Plus professional hair and makeup help. Diet and exercise are probably more on your mind if you're in the public eye.

Thing is they all looked good in their 20s, so well above average to start with
