Just followed her on Instagram, she has completely transformed.. Stunning country home, extremely posh accent... She's turned into a stepford wife... She looks incredible!

I know someone who works for her husband's formula 1 team. They had a 90s themed Christmas party a year or two ago and I was so disappointed to hear that she didn't turn up in a Union Jack dress. No idea what she actually wore because I lost interest once I heard it wasn't ginger spice

She just sounds like she has a "BBC voice" to me. And those aren't really class based, they are the accents that people speak with when they want to sound like everyone else and use any hint of a regional accent. It's not anywhere near RP either, and proper posh people have totally different accents to this. Her clothes are the same, nothing even hinting at personality in wearing white all the time, although it does look nice on her because of her colouring. She was my favourite many years ago, because I thought she had so much attitude. But now I would not know who she was if I saw her in the street. She reminds me of a lot of other pony club/ sailing types really. She's got a lovely figure and lovely tan, and it is very refreshing to see an ordinary face not filled with Botox and filler. Maybe that's why she looks posh? Because these days people with money tend to ruin their faces unless they are too posh to care about that sort of thing. She seems to have done what a lot of women do and shrunk herself into a smaller space as she's got older. It would have been awesome if she was a little bit more spice girl in the every day but then I don't think many of us spend so much time on our outfits, makeup and hair dos as we did when we were younger. We start to make safer fashion choices. And of course the spice girls had people dressing and styling them, doing their hair and makeup, they were characters. She's obviously been around people who speak a certain way for many years, regional accents do get reduced or lost over time of you are no longer regional especially if you want them to and most people have some words or phrases we only use when young so when we are no longer youths we lose these "youth culture" words.
A lot of people's voices change when they move as adults, and a lot of people speak differently after studying at university. I have known council estate women with strong regional accents lose them over the course of studying a university course especially if they continue to postgraduate level. I dont think they are trying to be something they are not or that she is just that our lives, our location, our social circle, these things all Change us.

A life time of being picked apart in the media and you are going to be afraid of making fashion mistakes, or speaking in a way that might be criticised. Which of course leads you to being criticised for dressing more conservatively and speaking in a posher accent. I imagine that the divide between her spice girl character and every day self has grown a lot over the years, as well as them never being the same thing to start with of course.

Those rumours have been around from the start, hence the 'Old Spice' moniker.

But the database of births in Britain, going back decades, is publicly available, so if the rumours were true, it would be very easy to prove. She is the age she says she is. Same with Catherine Zeta Jones, who is also often accused of lying about her age.

I am in awe at her clothes remaining that white! I have just popped outside to check on my chucks and 5 mins later, I look like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards! I think she looks fab and looks to be enjoying life.

She's not posh. I’ve met her. All fur coat and no knickers, as my grandmother would say.

If Kate Middleton can make herself posh I don’t see why Geri can’t. Geri didn’t have the advantage of parents who could afford Marlborough and Downe House. Her ‘poshness’ is entirely self-made.

VB could have done the same but ironically she didn’t.

I know someone who went to the same school as GH and she is older than she claims to be .

Well she was in the year below me at school and she says she's a year younger than me now... And her accent is the same as most girls who went to Watford Girls' Grammar.

I didn't go there myself but quite a few of my friends did and knew her. Actually, I know someone who has worked with her quite a lot recently and he says she is rather lovely, unlike a lot of the celebs he works with.

Horner grew up in Leamington Spa which is posh if you’re from the West Mids (like me) and went to Arnold Lodge which is a private school. I’m an F1 fan and there were rumours swirling for years about Geri hanging around the paddock trying to bag herself someone, she was friendly was Flavio Briatore at one point apparently, but who knows. It’s well known in F1 circles that Christian left his ex partner (Beverley?) 6 months after she gave birth to Olivia and that’s why his parents didn’t attend the wedding. He’s also Christian Moaner in our household too…enough to put you off F1 altogether!

He also went to Warwick school…pretty prestigious private school for boys so definitely from a middle/upper class background.

@AmberLynn1536 I think he’s a bit two faced. I think he’s hinted at Jos Verstappen they’d be interested in Max behind the scenes but they aren’t because you couldn’t have those two in the same team. You can barely have them on the same track.

Horner looks more the type who’d overlook the two new kittens appearing while he’s at work or the new centrally heated stable block or the expensive dog bed. Wolff would rehome the dog at the first accident.

'Posh' was so-called because her family was comparatively wealthy. Dad drove her to school in Roller; they had a pool.

Ah you should have seen him at our graduation ceremony in summer. He was an honorary graduate and did a speech for the graduates. We all fell a little bit in love with him!

It made me laugh when him and Geri got married and Geri wore the veil over her face, looking every inch the virginal bride when there had clearly been some kind of overlap/him moving onto Geri very quickly after dumping his wife who had just given birth. Geri had been hanging around the F1 circuits for ages before they officially got together as well.

Good luck to them, they seem happy together and have lasted longer than I thought they would!

Posh went to a very bog standard comprehensive school. Her parents had a pretty successful business and were relatively 'wealthy' but I'm not sure you can say that anyone from Cheshunt is 'posh'!

She was a regular fixture at F1, some would say hoping to marry well. Married Christian Horner who dumped his wife and baby(?) for her. Suddenly she is rich, wearing white and living the life. Prob got fed up of looking at how Elton and George Michael were living
