Geri is minted in her own right! She looks great. Her husband is away for a lot of the year with Red Bull Racing so that must be stressful (depending on how you look at it) We call him Christian Moaner in our house

Hes called the whiney twat in our house.

Her dad eventually took his mum's last name, Halliwell. Last name was Sjövik. Interesting to know.

I’m not arsed with her music, but I’ve always really liked her as a person. I think she looks brilliant and if I looked that great I’d be wearing white 24/7!

I'm of a similar age to her and grew up in London so occasionally saw them out and about and even copied them sometimes in dress/hairstyles etc. Geri we never really paid much attention to but it got a bit stupid when she was doing yoga on the beach... .

Christian and Beverley weren't actually married but they owned property and had a child together, Marriage would have been on the cards, I would imagine, if not for Geri's intervention.

I feel sorry for her, she seems sweet. But she can't have any peace of mind knowing that her DH happily cheated on his previous long term partner when she was pregnant with his child. How can you ever possibly trust someone who can do that?

Yes as a previous poster mentioned, all the nicknames were given by Smash Hits magazine very early on, and it was just done in a jokey way, I think Posh got her name more from the way she dressed, little black dress etc, they each had their own 'image'. I clearly remember reading that very issue of the magazine at the time. As for Geri, I don't know much about her these days, but the Union Jack dress was nearly 25 years ago, it would be more strange if she was still dressing the same, we all change!

You don’t clearly remember as well as you think, because it was Top of the Pops magazine, not Smash Hits! 😛 (I was OBSESSED with Spice Girls when I was younger).

If I remember correctly she comes from the Watford area and most definitely did not grow up posh and never has been posh -sorry to all those in the Watford area who are... I grew up near there. Some parts are lovely some are.... not
She married a seriously wealthy guy and am sure had a fair amount of her own wealth. I think the all white stepford thing as well as the accent is prob a bit contrived for sm.
But good luck to her. She seems happy and as others have said, she's landed on her feet.

I just can't understand why anyone would want to marry someone who could do this. It just says they are a total arse. I'm not even anti all affairs, but cheating whilst your wife is pregnant/ has a new born is about as low as you can get.

She always changes her persona, not necessarily to fit with whoever she is in a relationship with, more to suit the life she wants to live.

I think the way she and her husband got together was pretty skanky. I don't think other women owe it to her not to be 'mean' or judgy about it.

I lost track of Geri back when she had a baby what I now read was 15 years ago. Didn’t know that she got married or got posh. I think the difference between her children’s names- the first, not with her current husband, is Bluebell Madonna, the second, with him, is Montague George Hector- tells you that it’s the husband who’s made her posh!
