If you were locked in a shop overnight ( by yourself and in no danger )
Which type of shop would you choose ?
Mine would 100% be a bookshop . Even better if it had somewhere to make a coffee / tea.
My idea of heaven.

John Lewis. I’d go to the carpet/rug department and snuggle up in one of the huge piles of rugs there.

Your post reminds me of the Vicar of Dibley scene when she wakes up bleary eyed after gorging all night on Crunchie bars!

Bookshop for me too.

I think it wouldn't be that much fun, cold, scary and probably dark. But still lets not think of reality.
Vivienne Westwood shop, I could try on everything without the staff looking at me in dismay.

I’d go for my favourite outdoor shop, Outside on Derbyshire. Lots of sleeping bags to cosy up in, warm clothes, nice cafe, lots of books to read. Then I’d go for a swim at the lido down the road.

My 91 year old mam said a wine store.

I went to Waterstones on 16/3/20. I alway find it an oasis in the bustle of town anyway. I did joke that it would be a good place to ride out the next few weeks.
The staff member said that they do have to check the shop thouroughly every night because people do try to sneakily get locked in!

Was my dream as a kid to get locked in a supermarket & devour the pick n mix. Roll on 21 in food retail & it's a different story. & the pick n mix has gone anyway.
