I'm 30, a single mum to 3 and have the following list of diagnoses:

Autism

Depression

Anxiety

Psychosis with auditory and visual hallucinations

PTSD

Hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome

Psoriatic arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis

Subrapubic disfunction

De Quervains tenosynovitis

Fibromyalgia

Binge eating disorder

I use a walking frame to help me mobilise and I am currently 19st 10lb.

Ive joined weight watchers, have a load of healthy snack options in.

I plan on getting between 6 and 8 thousand steps a day (have been slowly working up from 2000 for the last year)

I'm going to start keeping a journal and mark all appointments in a diary.

I'm going to do some gentle yoga every day, even if I only manage ten minutes.

Come cheer me on, join me in changing your life, or simply wish me luck.

Thanks Grin

My strategy so far has just been to get straight back on the horse as soon as I'm able. Right now I can't do yoga due to my fractured shoulder, but im still focusing on other areas and taking some time each day to meditate. Once my shoulder heals I should hopefully still be in the right frame of mind to get back to it as I've continued with everything that I can do

Well DD definitely has covid. Luckily she's not too unwell with it. Just a bad cough and loss of taste and smell. She's currently singing frozen songs. She's as good at singing as her mum... which is to say she's not very good at all Grin

PCR test done 2 days ago has come back negative. So DD did have covid but no longer does. So we've celebrated by baking. We made a sponge cake, which they decorated... they went a bit OTT with the sprinkles. We also made banana bread and brownies.
All gluten free due to DS2s coeliac.

Today my oldest is 13! I'm too young to have a teenager! Grin
So today we are having family round to celebrate. His dad won't be here despite being invited. He told DS he can't be bothered and wants a day to relax after working 3 days Hmm (he works away, he finished work last night and is only 2 hours away so could easily make it for his birthday)
Here's his cake I had made for him. Little so and so thought he'd stumped me when he asked for a potato themed birthday! Grin

I love that cake, it's inspired.Has he seen it yet?

HerRoyalRisesAgain · 28/10/2021 08:48

He has seen it. He saw it this morning, and he is very impressed. He's also rather impressed I managed to find potato birthday cards and potato bunting Grin
