Thanks for that summary Barbara. Like I thought, nothing new to see there! The fact that she said African American man repeatedly is 100% proof of her racism so I can't see the point of making an hour long podcast to try and gather sympathy or prove some other point (whatever she was trying to do) when the racism is recorded and online for posterity for all to see.

Excuses. Excuses. Excuses.

At no point in the "altercation" would it have mattered if it was just "I'm being threatened by a man". There is simply no reason, absolutely no reason to specify which "kind" of man in that scenario unless to indicate how serious/agressive/violent this supposed threat should be seen. Black man = more of a threat than white man. There's No. Other. Reason. And people can make up excuses all they like. Amy can justify it all she likes. The fact that she even gave him that warning in order for him to be afraid and back off shows her intent when she finally made the call.

Sure they couldn't hear her, yet she really needed to add two more words (African American) to her already long sentence instead of shortening it. "What happened to "A man is threatening me?" Yea right!

"A remote part of the park". Sure it is! Yet she was screaming and lunging at him. Didn't know people did that if there were so feeble, timid and scared for their lives. I'd have run as fast as my feet could take me if I were "accosted by a big bad man". Can't roll my eyes any farther up if I tried.

More excuses for this racist woman. Some posters on here I expect nothing less from.

TooBigForMyBoots · 25/08/2021 10:23

@BarbaraofSeville, Amy Cooper is a liar. I know that because I watched a video of her threatening to tell lies about Christian Cooper. She's also an entitled racist.

TooBigForMyBoots · 25/08/2021 11:10

She has spent over a year trying to get dirt on Christian Cooper to exonerate her. This podcast is a disgusting slur of an innocent man, who was going about his lawful business when he was disturbed by an unleashed dog. He didn't approach her, he stood still and asked her to leash her dog. Instead of doing this she threatened to use his race against him.

One year later she's still weaponising her wee white woman's tears, distorting the truth and pretending that she is the victim. She is not Christian Cooper's victim, she is the victim of her own hubris and racism.

@CanIPleaseHaveOne

Are you the same poster who started the now deleted thread in feminism? If so, why are you so determined to defend this racist?

I don't think the OP has defended AC if you look at her posts.

It also played the recording of the 911 call, and the reason why she kept repeating the 'I'm being threatened by an African American man' over and over was that the signal was poor and the operator was just repeatedly saying she couldn't be heard.

Absolute rot. This I could accept, if he had indeed been threatening her and the line was bad

Her: there’s a man threatening me
911: line is bad, can you repeat
Her: there’s a man threatening me
911: can you describe him
Her: he’s wearing a blue jumper, 6ft and is African American
911: line is bad, can you repeat..
Her: he’s wearing a blue jumper etc etc

But that isn’t what happened

Plus the fact that before she spoke to the operator she had said to CC "I'm going to call the police and tell them an African American man is threatening me".

There were only the two of there.

That "descriptor" was thus totally unnecessary at that point.

She knew CC was black because she was looking at him and it's safe to say CC knew he was black....

She used those words as a threat, not a description,

emuloc · 25/08/2021 17:14

Yet some on here will still try to defend her disgusting actions and look to make excuses for her, such as she was scared etc. If she was so scared why would she have even been standing there. She was not trying to get away from him. All the while telling him what she was going to do.
