I will ask for advice, and you have to answer using only a quote from somewhere else on Mumsnet. Then you can ask for the next piece of advice. (best to quote the advice question you're answering in case there's cross-posting)

Okay, first question: What should I wear to my cousin's wedding?

What's your favourite thing to order from a takeaway?

"Most delivery drivers make an absolute racket. I hear my deliveries coming even from the other side of the house before they are anywhere near the door bell, and I can tell you what time my neighbours have theirs.

Deliveries are LOUD."

Should I buy some mum boots?

Bella and Duke which comes frozen in brickettes and just looks like mince once defrosted. Keep in a tupperware and use a dog only spoon and it is ok. It doesn't have obvious meaty bits in it that other raw foods have. Alternatively there is dehydrated raw food called Pure which is in a powder form and you just rehydrate with water. Stir. Looks a bit like ready brek. That removes any ick factor or meat aversion if you are non meat family.

Any suggestions for keeping a 10-year-old amused on a 3 hour car journey?

I put nails in all along the top of the window about 6-8" apart, then attached safety pins along the top of a spare duvet cover and simply hooked the (closed) safety pin on to the nails.

So easy to do and no spend.

Mine is always about helicopters, stolen packages, flashers, parking tickets, more stolen packages, unusual bird sightings, and finally - stolen packages. So dull.

I would be keeping him in for at least a month. I would also book him to be microchipped (if he isn’t.)

You are dealing with a very 2021 dilemma!

There was another thread about choirs, and someone posted they book out rooms to choirs, and they were getting about half attendance. There's going to be a lot of this.

Google “office in a wardrobe”. Lots of ideas there.

I’d order myself a takeaway and eat it all right in front of them. Genuinely. Then I’d tell them why

Why isn't my clematis flowering?

SquirryTheSquirrel · 15/08/2021 10:43

Why isn't my clematis flowering?'

Mine is going through something very similar - disturbed environment due to bathroom refurb and off his food a bit because of the heat. I'm just going to monitor him for the few days after the builders finish but he's drinking water and coming for cuddles so I'm not super worried just yet. He actually really liked a (disgusting) ice cube made out of tuna brine so you could try that to keep fluids up if the weather is really warm.
