I will ask for advice, and you have to answer using only a quote from somewhere else on Mumsnet. Then you can ask for the next piece of advice. (best to quote the advice question you're answering in case there's cross-posting)

Okay, first question: What should I wear to my cousin's wedding?

"I gave mine a week of raw so she wasn’t dealing with too many changed at once, then straight to kibble. No issues at all."

DS wants the day off school, as he's a bit tired. Should I let him stay at home?

The only reasonable solution is to make individual trifles.

No is a complete sentence.

What is it raining for my planned BBQ???

MilesJuppIsMyBitch · 15/08/2021 10:44

Was I unreasonable not to split the bill when I only had a started and some tap water?

"They need to off load some of that money otherwise it'll go in inheritance tax. Get them to make an Appointment with an IFA."

"I’m somewhat sympathetic to the notion that suffering often seems undeserved.
But when we forget that we are animals, albeit rational animals, we can forget the biggest mystery- which is complexification.
That is, as humans we are negentropic entities, something that doesn’t quite fit with the laws of nature, as we commonly understand them.
In essence, it’s a miracle that we exist."

How can I stop locking myself out of the house?

So much worse when adults do it

You don't have nearly enough detail to make a judgment. That, and it's none of your business.

What's on your meal plan this week?

You can do the painting Hobby (note capitalisation!) and not play the game if you prefer.

There's also the monthly white dwarf magazine. Which is a handy birthday etc present for a subscription. And all the paints etc.

Can watch famous ones paint their little men (as I call them) online.

And there's the boardgames as well as the main one and a range of books about their adventures as well.

It's all good wholesome stuff really. And always something to buy for presents.

The people in the shops are generally lovely as well.

For an easier life, I would have a diversified portfolio of ETFs. Fill up your isas, sort your pension. Get dividend income.

There has been a fair bit in the news about this. Brexit is and will continue to bring about real changes and we need to check everything carefully

"Hi, I'm going it lone too! Started a couple of weeks ago, loved it for the first week, then stupid hormones and half term got in the way. So back on it today, as I know I'll feel better and look better."

I find them to be on the slightly smaller side though, so if I'm having them in a sandwich or something, I like Aldi's version.

In terms of deterrence I genuinely don’t know. I’ve tried pepper powder and coffee grounds before but they didn’t seem to do much.
