I'll start with skinny co pornstar martini mix. Tasted incredibly sweet and synthetic. It stated use 1 part vodka to 3 parts mix. I tried that too sweet added more vodka so 50/50 just about drinkable. I drank another one with the reverse ratios, almost OK but I was so drunk I fell over and knocked the TV over.

The other downside was that it stank so much so that my empty glass had made the whole room stink.

The Ordinary skincare. All fit for the bin.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 11/08/2021 17:56

Not strictly bought but spent the required £20 to get a ‘free’ beauty heroes box from Boots, it arrived with two items missing and all they said was “we don't replace free gifts, heres 200 points as a sorry” points that i cant spend online unless i amass enough other points to spend on something worth the free delivery or the standard delivery charge as they don't accept part payment in points….. so rubbish really

Actually bought, an ice cream maker that took up half the freezer for the mixing bowl thing and took forever to mix enough to actually be edible.

The dyson supersonic. I rarely splash our on anything but have long hair that I wash daily and a chronic illness so thought it would make life easier. Absolutely hated it. No faster or lighter than my usual dryer, but made my hair so tangled (even on low settings, which incidentally then meant it took even longer to dry) that I ended up hacking my hair to bits detangling it after.

The only great thing about it was how quiet it was.

GingerBreadTeddy · 11/08/2021 18:10

Dualit toaster and kettle. Lasted less time than the cheap supermarket ones I had previously

Hopdathelf · 11/08/2021 18:12

Dyson Airwrap. Total waste of money and takes up lots of space.

JudgeRindersMinder · 11/08/2021 18:13

Marriage licence 😂

Window1 · 11/08/2021 18:14

Air Fryer

Soup Maker - except for maybe three times per year.

Motnight · 11/08/2021 18:16

Vax vacuum cleaner.

Elemis skincare

Galassia · 11/08/2021 18:16

Oh yes Dyson! The awful vacuum cleaners including the dreadful fan and the handheld cleaner - all absolute rubbish!

I do have the hair dryer though and that is fab!

KarlMaldensNose · 11/08/2021 18:16

Citizen eco drive sunrise watch which I have never worn as it’s too delicate looking on me, I tried it on in the shop too. Plus it’s a tighter on my wrist than I’m comfortable with.
Was really expensive (for me) too - still has tags on 🥲

KarlMaldensNose · 11/08/2021 18:17

@Window1

My sister made me some broccoli and stilton soup in Her soup maker which actually tasted identical to sick 🤮
ThreeKneeRepeater · 11/08/2021 18:19

All Saints leather biker jacket. I’ve worn it twice in three years.

ChachiChichi · 11/08/2021 18:20

Lush mascara. It's absolutely crap. Looked like I had fag ash under my eyes after about 20 mins.

Batshittery · 11/08/2021 18:22

Dualit toaster. It's crap and doesn't toast evenly

Kitchen Aid mixer. There was nothing wrong with it, it's just that I don't bake and it was too big to fit in the cupboard. It was about £400 and I sold it to a friend for £200 after using it once. Buying on a whim is not great. Grin

BennyBean · 11/08/2021 18:23

My Bungalow!!!

RandomMess · 11/08/2021 18:24

The new cat.

We are all exhausted elderly cat and dog included.

AlmostSummer21 · 11/08/2021 18:29

Vax cordless

Bloody expensive &Bloody useless! ALL Mn's fault for raving about them & linking to the annual sale. (Still cost a bloody fortune!)

Ended up giving it to a friend who uses it upstairs to save her carrying her hoover up. She's kept it so I presume she's happy enough with it, dunno

Henry is heavy, but I love him!!

LadyJaye · 11/08/2021 18:32

I had a dodgy back over Christmas and bought one of those full-seat shiatsu massage things.

Turns out my back was dodgy because I was sitting on my arse too much, and walking for 30 minutes a day sorted it out for free.

I still get annoyed when I open the cupboard and see the shiatsu thing.

Me too Disappointing

Shark cordless vacuum, hate it. Blocks every time I use it and the pointless headlights annoy me!

Notdoingthis · 11/08/2021 18:40

Cats. False advertising. They are supposed to be easy.

Yes! It's a right prima donna. Anything more taxing than dust and faints in horror.
Apeirogon · 11/08/2021 18:44

Philips Lumea. Just too much of a faff.

Toooldforthis321 · 11/08/2021 18:45

An above ground pool. Too much maintenence compared to usage in the summer weather.

Imicola · 11/08/2021 18:48

An epilator. I now have chronic ingrown hair issues which are a pain.
