Water Slide Vagina Injury

Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
I follow a lady on Instagram called babiesafter35 and I am absolutely traumatised by this phenomenon she has described.

Basically if you go down a water slide there's a chance that the force of the water can enter your vagina and cause severe damage to internal organs, haemorrhage or even death! I am sure it's incredibly rare but I had never heard of this before. Anyone else?

Can happen to women of all ages including young girls.

I read that one too, poor woman!

I've never heard this but did learn to my embarrassment not to wear a bikini on a water slide!!

I grew up with a shower hose. Il be fine thank you.

Not a myth,it happened to me.luckily not too severe but once I got to the pool I had the wind knocked out of me so went to toilets for some privacy and found out I'd been cut down there and had some soreness and bleeding for a few days.

One of the reasons they made us wear shorts for waterskiing...

I’ve heard this before…ditto with waterskiing so they insist on you wearing shorts! Personally given how far up the gusset of a swimming costume gets pushed on a slide I would always wear swim shorts anyway!!!

Apparently a water park in Germany has made its fastest slide men only due to the number of internal injuries to women and girls.

Someone at work years ago was going to go waterskiing and was talking about wanting to avoid such injuries as it was her honeymoon. It sort of makes sense for it to be possible. High speed on water?
