Water Slide Vagina Injury

Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
I follow a lady on Instagram called babiesafter35 and I am absolutely traumatised by this phenomenon she has described.

Basically if you go down a water slide there's a chance that the force of the water can enter your vagina and cause severe damage to internal organs, haemorrhage or even death! I am sure it's incredibly rare but I had never heard of this before. Anyone else?

Can happen to women of all ages including young girls.

Presumably it was up her rectum, not vagina. No consolation to her of course, but significant if true as it would mean all this 'women' talk is nonsense as it's a risk to absolutely everybody

It’s a risk to men and women, but I think it ‘qualifies’ as a women’s issue because:

1. Women are more likely to sustain these injuries as we have a rectum and a vagina, so double the probability presumably

1. Women are less likely to be wearing shorts, so more likely to sustain injury it would seem

1. Rectal injuries in women often involve the vagina and sex organs too, so have potentially worse outcomes

Fair enough. At first I thought it all smacked of those sort of annoying warnings against women doing physical activity you might read about in the DM, but having read some more of the thread I see I was wrong and that as you say there are some genuine issues.

Just found this thread after reading about the Australian woman this week who ignored the waterslide "no women" sign.
Have not stopped clenching!
Amazed I have survived my waterpark experiences intact. Feel so sorry for anyone who's experienced this.
