I’ve decided I’d like an American man, please can you help me find one!

Yesterday I got talking to the lovliest man (at a clinic we were attending, not in a pub sadly) and I remembered how nice I’ve always found American men.

So I’ve decided I’d quite like one please, and I need you folks to help me find one. Any and all suggestions carefully considered :)

I suppose I should say that this is lighthearted - sort of!

There’s quite a few American air bases in East Anglia and it’s quite normal for people to meet Americans in this area. That’s how I lost my hairdresser to the states! So maybe move to the air base towns?

I've got one.

Pros: lovely accent
Cons: Never takes holiday leave. (Americans get two weeks a year and he can't cope with anymore. It is ingrained)

Ive got a couple of nice sons that are half American, but one is already taken by a nice English girl, sorry. You might find some at the English or Scottish Universities, or pop over to the East Coast of America. Your British accent will be very popular

Come to the Southern US, OP. Lots of nice ones here. But just be sure to find out their voter registration/political party affiliation before getting too involved.

Hang around cafes near the American School in St John’s Wood. And go to Whole Foods. Avoid the ones wearing baseball caps. Good luck OP

They are a different breed. There were a lot of American boys at my high school and they were obsessed with carrying my bag for me. It drove me crazy! And they are into ‘dating’. Maybe the grown up ones are different and also things may have changed since the 90s.

Maybe I should start my search in East Anglia and then if it’s looking promising I can go the whole hog.
