What is the most beautiful surname you have heard?

I've been researching my family tree and there are a lot of surnames, mostly usual Irish, Scottish but some interesting ones and it got me thinking about surnames in general.

I always thought Italian surnames are very beautiful, Baccino, Santangelli.

I love ones that are simple such as Flower, Beach and Ocean too.

So, what's the most beautiful one you have ever heard?

I knew a family with the last name ‘Love’

But my favourite was when i was talking to a policeman and his surname was ‘Christmas’

I know families called Drinkwater, Ballinger, Christmas, Greenleaf and Ingledew. But also Maycock, Johncock, Miggins and Stiff.

I knew an elderly lady called Mrs Snowball many years ago. I always thought it was such a lovely name.
My friend once dated a very nice chap with the delightful surname of Wintermeyer (pronounced Winter-mire).

A surname in my distant family is Des Anges. I would have loved to inherit that one!

I knew a family with the surname Kactus, which I loved

I like composite nature names. Greenhill, Greenwood, Rainwood.

Another one loving the surname Devine.

I checked a Mr Gotobed into a hotel- felt like his mum "here is your key Mr-Gotobed!"

I had a teacher at primary school Miss Clementine which I still think is nice and a colleague with the surname Latibeaudiere which has a lovely rhythm to it.

At school there was a Mrs Tortoiseshell, I loved that. Also my friend married and became Mrs Heartfelt, she ditched the man but kept the name!

I think it's the producer of 'Last of the Summer Wine' who is Richard Brackenbury.

I get a little frisson of pleasure whenever the journalist Damien Gramatticus is mentioned. A surname with gravitas!

I used to work for a guy whose surname was Heaven. It was fitting after the horror boss that was his predecessor.
