What shops have you never bought anything from?

These are all in my local area and I've never bought from them.

M&S (was given a £20 gift card from them, struggled to find anything to buy so sold it)

Costa coffee
Starbucks
Boots (use pharmacy but never bought from the actual shop)

Where do you shop then? I can understand not liking the clothing in M&S but I'd of used the voucher for food.

I can’t think of a single big name shop that I’ve never bought from - though I haven’t shopped in Next or New Look for about a decade.

Struggling to think ... I might not have bought anything from Joules either, not sure.

I shop in morrisons, tesco, poundland, poundstretcher, home bargains, b&m, the range, matalan.

I'm struggling to get my head around the fact that you have never bought from M & S or Boots. You must be very difficult to please.

From your list I have never bought anything from Joules. We don't have Boden. Has autocorrect changed Waitrose to Waitress?

Zara - the only time I’ve ever been in I asked a sakes assistant to explain the sizing. She looked at me wit raised eyebrows and said “We don’t make clothes for people as big as you”. I was a size 14 at the time. That was the end of my relationship with Zara.

House of Fraser (even when I worked there!)
All sports stores apart from Sports Direct (for my kids trainers)
John Lewis (use Waitrose once in a while)
Only shop in M&S for the food.

I've never bought from Joules as I don't like the style.
I've never bought from New Look.
I think I've bought from most other high street chains though.

I have never even seen anything I remotely want to buy in Zara. The Meadowhall shop is like a jumble sale, which I find off putting. I really dislike having to rummage when clothes shopping.

I would love to be able to shop in Fortnum and Mason @lboogy

How can you live without M&S, Costa and Starbucks?.

Unfortunately not everyone is in a well paid job and can afford to shop in M&S, Waitrose etc. They are incredibly expensive to me.

Cannot understand how someone has never bought from M and S or Boots. The odd snack, sun cream, shampoo. An M and S sandwich occasionally when on the go; pants.

I can’t even go to an airport terminal without buying something from Boots (hair tyes, bottle of water for flight).

Oh my god!! That is beyond rude.

I've bought from most of the ones you've listed. But it would have been an item years ago.
I mainly shop in the supermarkets and places like Home Bargains and will depending on what I need.

I do have two daughters heading into the preteen years though, so not sure how long they will accept M&S and John Lewis for (from well off grandparents, I supplement with supermarket clothing)

I haven’t been in Costa or Starbucks for years. Never bought in Joules.

Last time I bought something in Next was when my kids got soaked through from head to toe & we were away from home & got complicated reasons didn’t have spare clothes, so had to buy them new outfits & Next was the first shop we came to.

I buy almost all clothes secondhand.

I shop in Boots all the time. All the family toiletries and my cosmetics. I shop in M&S foodhall, also their clothing (it's not popular on mumsnet but I've found good items).
