Council Tax- how much is yours

I’ve read that council tax outside of London can be more expensive than inside, so I’m being nosy having just got my new bill.

I’ll start:
London, 3 bed terrace £1691.52 (or £169 over 10
Months)

Bloody extortionate imo!

2 bed semi outside Glasgow, £177 a month.

In Scotland water is included

Cornwall. 2 bed detached. £2700

£126 / month over ten months band A social housing ,my parents band D pay significantly more about £270/ month I think, Greater Manchester

3 bed...sorry

Mine is £120. Scotland, includes water. I think it's remarkably good value. Do people not want any local services?

London, 3 bed semi, £2314, £235 a month

Scotland, 9 miles outside Glasgow, £186 a month for a 3 bed semi.

South Coast. 178 a month 10x months.

Should of said a 3 bed house out of town.

West Midlands, £180 per month for 5 bed detached (but was 3 bed originally - we’ve extended)

Perthshire, 5 bed, Band G

South Wales coast 4 bed detached £255 over 10 months. I’m so jealous Scotland’s water is included. My water bill is almost £70 a month!!! And I live in one of the wettest places in the U.K.!

South west 3 bed detached £2159

Surrey, 4 bed semi, just over £250 per month for 10 months.

West Yorks 3 bed detached £172 a month

We have recently downsized to a 3 bed bungalow band c £1742.40 pa previous home was band e £2644.86 pa so a massive reduction for us.

Your council tax sounds quite reasonable OP.

Over £2000 here in a not very wealthy part of the SE. Luckily I'm a single parent so get a 25% discount and only have to pay around £150 a month.

4 bed house in Manchester, £1700 a year

Dorset 4 bed detached £3150 but paid in 10 instalments

Lincolnshire, 4 bed detached house £165 per month. Up a few quid from last year.

4 bed detached in NW band E. Just short of £200 a month split over 12 months.

Paid over 10 months from April.

East Sussex, 3 bed 60s townhouse semi. £181pcm over 10 months, due to go up slightly in April.
