Council Tax- how much is yours

I’ve read that council tax outside of London can be more expensive than inside, so I’m being nosy having just got my new bill.

I’ll start:
London, 3 bed terrace £1691.52 (or £169 over 10
Months)

Bloody extortionate imo!

Leeds 3 bed semi £2471.65

York, 4 beds, about £3,000. I opened the envelope, pulled the bill out, and quickly shoved it back in!

South West Wales...........Band D

Three bedroom semi detached £2000 a year

2500 year
Grotty shit hole town in the south east
3 bed detached

£150 per month April-Jan then £0 Feb-March. I'm in the West of Scotland, includes water charges.

£1368. 3 bed semi. Band C, with single person discount. £114 x 12 monthly payments. Greater Manchester.

Surrey 4 bed, £3,500

Too much.

North East £340 a month for 10 months in a 5 bed semi.

North West 3 bed 110 PM

1 bed flat in London zone 3. £132 a month over 10 months

Aberdeen, 3 bed detached £3498 includes water at £470 but does not include garden refuse these days for which I get charged another £30 p a.
Rip off.

3 bed terrace in Kent £154 a month over ten months

South west £3300 per year. Band F.

Devon. 5 bed detached £3100...and believe me - no palace. Gutted at all the others :(

not sure what ours is but some of these figures are eye watering!

Band c Isle of Wight, 4 bed semi. Just gone up to over 2k per annum. Increase of over 450 p/a in 5 years

3 bed terrace Devon 132 x 10 including single person discount. Water is extra. Garden refuse collection 3 or 4 times a year. Bulky waste used to be extra but now isn’t collected at all.

South Coast three bed detached now £188 over 12 months , it went up by 5.1%😥

South Wales, £194 a month, 10 M, Single person discount. 3 Bed Detached. I rent so hate the connection between house prices and council tax. I’m paying twice over for the value of this house.

4 bed detached in the SE (cheapest in the road. I checked) £3000 per annum

Even with my 25% single person reduction my council tax is still more than yours for a small end terrace is Surrey with a tiny garden and no garage
