What was the first thing you ever bought on amazon?

Was looking for something in 'your orders' and idly clicked the drop-down box to look at previous orders by year.

Mine: 2001 - The Deeper Meaning of Liff by Douglas Adams et al

On this account, Star Trek books in 2005. But before thatI had another account (when I was at uni) which I lost access to. That was probably books too.

10th August 2005 - The Contented Little Baby Book by Gina Ford. My first DC was born on 7th September so I was getting organised :)

2010, The Tree of Seasons book by Stephen Gately. I was living in another country and couldn't find it there, so I bought it from Amazon UK.

2005: The West Wing seasons 1-6

A fascinating book called Life at the Extremes by Frances Ashcroft about how various creaturs (and people) survive in the extreme conditions etc that the Earth has.

2002: Friends season 8 vol 1 and 2 and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery on dvd

2004 Pergolasi Stabst Mater CD - would have been because I was singing it in whatever choir I was in then.

Mine was August 1999. A few books, which look like holiday reading.

A while ago I counted up all my Amazon orders by year and put them in this chart . There's a big jump when I got prime in 2007 and then another when I got my first kindle in 2011.

My order wasn't until 2012! November. I bought a soft leather key case.

A sim card back in 2009. For 3 Broadband. I don't remember being on that network.

Dec 2009- LG Cookie phone charger. I must have left my charger at Uni when I came home for Christmas.

Followed by:

March 2010- a book called "What do I do with all these courgettes" which I now remember I bought for my Mum for her birthday.

2011 - 46” Star Wars double-handed lightsaber...

And a Wham - Make It Big CD, ordered on the same day 😁
