Was looking for something in 'your orders' and idly clicked the drop-down box to look at previous orders by year.

I was hoping it would be killer heels, a sassy top or at least some disco lights. But it was this. I knew how to live it up in 2007!

The Ultimate Matrix Collection in December 2004. Absolutely no recollection - must have been an xmas pressie as not my cup of tea.

Gosh its depressing looking back through my orders and realising how much money I've wasted over the years Sad

One Night Only - Elton John 4th December 2000.

TimeIhadaNameChange · 16/03/2021 17:11

Prey by Michael Crichton, ordered on 9 Jan 2004.

No idea why. I've never read it!

Talisin · 16/03/2021 17:13

Call of the Wild by Jack London in October 1998. I know there should be a few things earlier than that on the .com site from before the UK site existed, but they seem to have vanished. Most of my early amazon purchases had to do with Buffy the Vampire Slayer in some way or another Grin

Baileyscoffeeandcampfires · 16/03/2021 17:15

Chloe by Freya north in 2000

ThinkAboutItTomorrow · 16/03/2021 17:17

The earliest is 1999. It was 'Tis by Frank McCourt for my mum.

I probably did have earlier but maybe on the US site so no record now?

Supernatural seasons 1-3 on DVD and The Golden Compass on DVD. Both on 10th Feb 2009.
The Golden Compass is still in the cupboard, although we never watch itbecause its shit.
I can only assume Supernatural was for the ex as I have no recollection of ever owning it!

On my UK account 2002 - Smashing Pumpkins melloncollie and the infinite sadness cd. To replace my cassette copy, haha.

I had a US account when I at uni there in 2001 but I can't remember my login details for that one.

The whole purchase history is a fascinating microcosm into my life:

2003-2010: Travel books, CDs from latest bands etc
2011: as before + notable addition of book titled ‘taking charge of your fertility’
Early 2012: ginger sweets and morning sickness wristbands
Late 2012: large exercise ball
Early 2013 onwards...SO MUCH STUFF. Changing bags and nappy sacks and teething gel and muslins. Books about weaning, books about toddlers, books about second babies. Building blocks and baby bouncers and board books. Pom-poms and pipe cleaners and play-doh and paint. On and on and on it goes...

duffmcstockings · 16/03/2021 17:58

Two Junie B Jones books 2007.
