The latest is that Meghan is accused of bullying staff. Harry and Meghan then responded that Buckingham Palace was using the Times to peddle false stories/a smear campaign. So presumably the "leak" comes from Buckingham Palace/the Queen.

It's all so childish. Why can't they all just be grateful for the extremely cushy life that they have!

I'll be watching the Oprah interview. I think the royals never come across well in these kind of things. Like Andrew's awful interview...he's just so out of touch with reality. And I think that's a characteristic that Harry unfortunately shares with him.

Don't care but they are human and it just really proves doesn't matter who you are what you have or don't have there's still shit in your life

Oh definitely! Andrew is a whole other level of awful. Harry is just a bit tiresome.

Shit sorry I got the wrong royals. I don't think Harry & Meghan have embarrassed themselves or the royal family as much as Prince Andrew. I do think in a week where the country is taking on more debt with no idea how it's going to be repaid, Boris is possibly using underhand ways of getting cash to redecorate and there's evidence that Matt Hancock has acted unlawfully with the way he's given out covid contacts, it's interesting that there's been about 8 or 9 news stories about what twats Harry and Meghan are. Look the other way people! I don't particularly care for the royal family but all they did was decide a particular way of life didn't suit them so they changed it, half the country seems to be taking it personally!

Exactly. I used to be a proper royalist but they've really shown again and again that they're no better than anyone else so time we stopped treating them as such.

Being less vile and corrupt than Prince Andrew is a very, very low bar. I mean, they don't deserve to be in jail. Even their most strident critics generally accept that. Whether they deserve to be looked up to, or have any influence in public life, that's the pertinent question.

Fine if you're still at school. Not so fine if you're one of the unelected heads of state who represent our country.

From what I've seen Harry and Meghan haven't done anything wrong. Either by stepping down/back or moving away. Just because he's loaded doesn't mean he hasn't got MH problems. Just because he's now married doesn't mean she's got him wrapped around her little finger - no idea how people have came to that conclusion. And just because he didn't want intrusive and false UK media stories about his family (wife/son) usually using Meghan as the baddie, doesn't mean he doesn't want any publicity at all for the charities he supports and even if he got rid of the royal titles and tried to live normal lives they'd still be hounded by the press. Anonymity is never going to happen for him. God forbid Meghan is a more modern woman who is still entitled to work and doesn't want to give up her career just because she married a senior royal.

But yes, I'll be watching just to see if they really do hang the royal dirty laundry out in public.

I dont understand for the life of me how Andrew hasn't been stripped of his titles!! Or disowned. Yet Harry and Megan get a bashing everyday in the media. Its like they want us to look this way instead of focusing on Andrew and his filthy behaviour. I cant wait until we no longer have a monarchy.

The Jeremy Kyle comment is very apt. H&M are acting as awfully as the general public. The average person wishing to tell all would be plastering this all over Facebook and Instagram and telling anyone, who listens. Thanks to her royal connections, Meghan gets to do it on Oprah.

I don’t think Harry can be absolved either. Someone posted a Twitter yesterday link on a now deleted thread with clips from a few interview (pre Meghan), where he was talking about how much he disliked England and the thought of living in windsor.

Agree strange, it's odd how people have taken it so personally. I loathe the narrative that men are stupid and thick and women are shameless and cunning.
Also Prince Andrew gets an easy ride whilst there is out cry over a mere interview. All this talk of Prince Philip, surely its Prince Andrew?

That article is pure speculation, its not even been proven to be true so how can you take what is essentially gossip and judge people on ir.

Honestly there could be dozens of articles from these so called sources who we can never know are credible and you will all still pounce on it and believe it to be 100% true.

I don't know whether the allegations in the article are true or not. That's not the point. The point is that Harry and Meghan believe this came directly from Buckingham Palace so there's clearly a lot of animosity behind the scenes.

They do - because apparently we aren't allowed to discuss something on MN which is featuring in every newspaper. I find the drama fascinating, personally. The British public has always been interested in and had opinions on the lives of its royal family.

But if the leak were sanctioned by Buckingham palace then they could leak all they wanted. I definitely think there's some truth to the story. Probably not exactly as it's portrayed by either side but somewhere in the middle.
