Kids TV series of the 90s.....anyone want to join me in reminiscing?

Someone on another thread has just mentioned “The Biz” which was from memory one of CBBC’s 5pm weekly series from back in the 90s. It’s got me thinking about all the other great stuff from that era (I was junior / secondary school age during the 90s) and can remember the following;

Watt on Earth (about an alien man who lives in a boys shed?!!)
The Queens Nose (and I had a major girl crush on the ginger girl, I just thought she was so beautiful and sassy)
5 children and It (what was that sand creature called?!! And I remember time travel being involved)
The Borrowers (Sunday tea time, my parents tried to get me into the books and failed)
Dark Season (a Russell T Davies one and quite dark / scary)
No Sweat (boy band)

Anyone else want a trip down memory lane? That’s all I can think of for now!

Agree that the Arthur theme tune was (and still is) awesome, probably one of my favourite tv theme songs!

Was My Parents are Aliens 90s or early 2000s? Whenever I see the bloke from it on other programmes I just think ‘oh it’s Brian from my parents are aliens’

Also, Out of This World, the main character could pause time by touching the tips of her index fingers together.

My parents are aliens started 1999 so just snuck in there according to Google. Blimey I was older than I thought when watching that then 😂

@ItsLoisSangersFault YES!! My so called life..Jordan Catalano (?) my friends and I were crazy about him, I ordered the dvd set some years ago and spent the whole day as a 30 year old watching the series 💓

Another one who was only allowed to watch BBC! Does anyone remember Think about Science? I still remember some of the science based songs from it but no one else seems to remember it. It used to vary with Why don’t you.

Tiny it is surely impossible for a 90s kid to not join in if you start with “and I say HEY”

I’m quite tempted to look up How 2 for DS, he’s a science nerd and I think he’d like it.

I always wondered what happened to the How 1 series though 😳

Pugwall was great, I keep meaning to look for it on U Tube for DS.

I used to love California Dreaming, I was a bit in love with Jake... you knew he was a bit of a 'bad boy' as he wore a black leather jacket and once... shock horror... tried a cigarette!

Another one which would have been early 90's was a series called Little Sir Nicholas, I loved it and have recently bought the book of the series to reminisce (although half of me doesn't want to read it in case it's a disappointment).

@snowstorm2012 Out of this world, yes loved that, used to watch it with my sister...again the theme tunes seem to stick with me ‘Would you like the wish on a star, carry moonbeams home in a jar 🎶🤣

The witness protection one was called See How They Run. It was the dad that had got mixed up in something criminal and they all had to go into hiding because he was giving evidence. It was quite scary in parts but so interesting. I remember being really upset by the episode where they accidentally discover their old house has been torched, I think because they go past it on a bus or maybe they wanted to sneak back and get some things they had forgotten, or something like that.

I got the book afterwards and read it loads of times.

Blended family one - was that Microsoap? It was a bit weird but someone I know was in it which is why I remember it.

I loved these ones when I was younger - all the same kind of vibe, I think it might have been the same writer?

We loved (F)Art Attack in our house Does anyone remember a cartoon of Bill and Ted and also The Mask?

And I remember Captain Planet too, and Power Rangers. We used to go mental for power rangers stuff in cereal boxes!!

Don't remember if it was late 90s or early 00s but I used to love The Lampies! Tiny creatures that lived in lamps!

Mona the Vampire was annother firm favourite, and when Arthur was always the first cartoon on in the morning!
