I have a few I think

  • click and collect for shopping (find it actually easier than delivery).
  • weekly pasta subscription

Anything you’ve started that you’ll keep once we are back to normal (whenever that is).

Food shopping once a week

Plussizejumpsuit · 04/02/2021 16:01

Buying cans of pop. I really like having one with food instead of a boozy drink. Which I'm not that into. Much fresher than a bottle and nice and cool.

Actually planning for snack food not having to pop out for it or go on the way to work for work food.

Doing quick little video calls with my sister and pre school nieces.

Reading. I am reading so much more now and have rediscovered my love of books.

Actually using the mini library of cook books. Which then involved meal planning and then click and collect. I saved £45 in one week by not mindlessly adding store cupboard ingredients that I already had in abundance!

Maintaining the large weight loss in lockdown 1.

Running x 3 a week.

Laundry and cleaning routines.

AgeLikeWine · 04/02/2021 16:07

WFH, hopefully. 🤞

Using hand sanitiser. It’s effective against all manner of bugs, so I will keep using it to reduce my chances of getting coughs & colds, norovirus etc etc.

Cosyjimjamsforautumn · 04/02/2021 16:07

Not visiting or being hugged by people I'm related to. I've enjoyed the physical and mental distance Wink
Meal planning and food delivery. Food shopping is utterly boring and if I do go to the supermarket I get tempted to buy stuff my waistline doesnt need!

Serendipity79 · 04/02/2021 16:09

Meal planning, and online grocery shopping - its saved me an absolute fortune.

Cooking - me and the kids have a range of cook books now and my middle daughter is showing signs of becoming a right foodie!

Walking - never realised so much natural beauty is on our doorstep

I have gone low contact with my family since Xmas and intend to stay that way. As much as it will hurt my mum, my siblings are toxic and my mental health is much better for not having to engage with them

MegaClutterSlut · 04/02/2021 16:09

Hand washing, I mean I wash my hands but I didn't wash them after coming back from a supermarket before covid. Also getting less takeaways, spending less money and keeping up the organising/cleaning

userxx · 04/02/2021 16:10

Brushing my hair once a week. The matted look suits me.

Going to bed earlier, I feel quite refreshed these days.

Opia90 · 04/02/2021 16:11

Keeping the video calls with long distance family. Why didnt we do it before? Blush

Knittingnanny · 04/02/2021 16:12

I’m going to keep the click and collect going for all the repeat bulky stuff like toilet rolls cat food cat litter laundry stuff, basically use the same list. Easier than pushing a trolley of that stuff around the shop. Wil go back to choosing my own meat fruit and veg though
Although we are newly retired, I was trying to fit too much in to each day and am planning on keeping that down a bit
Will def try to keep up the daily walk or cycle

garstongirl · 04/02/2021 16:12

@Nsky

Duolingo, started French 10 months ago, going ok, it can only improve
snap!
Globe22 · 04/02/2021 16:13

Gin by post monthly, a little treat just for me!

Turnedouttoes · 04/02/2021 16:13

Oh and reading in the bath in the evenings. I used to reserve that kind of indulgence for holidays but now have much more time as I hate watching too much TV and it’s lovely

Fuckingcrustybread · 04/02/2021 16:15

When male business acquaintances of my husband try and kiss me on the cheek, I'll be telling them to fuck off away from me. I'll probably be more polite than that though!!

WFH.
The only things I've taken up in lockdown are Duolingo, and more recently, drinking.

eggsandwich · 04/02/2021 16:17

Tesco click and collect, never did it before the pandemic and absolutely love it and wonder why I never did it before.

JaimeLeeCurtains · 04/02/2021 16:19
