Oh yes... so many lovely memories of Winter 2020-21...

If you do miss lockdown life... are you insane? (If you mean the first lockdown, then that's just about acceptable because we did have some nice weather.)

Will all the French I learnt at GCSE come flooding back to me and how useful will me being able to tell people the dog plays in the garden actually be ?

Yes all your French will come flooding back & bizarrely you'll start speaking excellent Spanish & Arabic too from out of nowhere.
Though you are unfortunately wrong with your 'dog playing in the garden' sentence as you are actually saying 'mon caca jure dans la jardinerie' (my poo swears in the garden centre)
hence all the worried & funny looks you get from people as they rush away from you.
You need to say 'mon chien joue dans le jardin' (my dog plays in the garden) instead
