Pleased that’s HM seem to be finding their feet

I am pleased that Harry and Meghan are making a success of things.

It’s been such an eventful year for everyone with uncertainty and being pulled out of our normal way of life. It’s good to see people who left what might be considered a “golden cage” and find a way to fly.

It gives me hope and confidence that even though we may not have connections and gorgeous looks, we can step out and do things differently and still be ok

Yes we can. We can turn off the press and social media and not worry about what other people are doing and invest ourselves less in things that do not matter really.

Yes, so pleased two jobless, over-privileged multi-millionaires (one of whom has never had to do a day's work in his life) have managed to retain the royal titles they were gifted so that they can cash in on them overseas without needing to give anything back to the country that gave them the titles (and money) in the first place. Fab!

Not sure how it applies to the rest of us though.

They are using their titles for a positive message though. I think their Spotify podcast is a great idea, especially if they get on people who are doing interesting things but may not have their own platform to share their stories

I also like the idea about investing in ethical start-ups. What’s not to like?

I think it would have been easier to shut up and stay in the safety (and possible toxic) of the royal family. It takes guts to leave and try something new

It is a positive message for anyone who is stuck in a rut and afraid to step out there, and it might make them feel more encouraged to step out. Fear is such a strong emotion and there has been so much of it this year. It is providing a glimpse of what is possible on the other side

Yes, I’m sure that seeing two pampered hypocrites “stepping out there”into a £19 million mansion from whence they preach their sermons to the plebs is the inspiration we all need to “glimpse what is possible on the other side”. A truly humbling and beautiful sight.

If I remember correctly Meghan was massively criticised in public media. It must have taken courage to still go out in public and refuse to shut up.
Isn’t that what we want as a message for women, be yourself without making excuses?

Several of us on here have been deployed to war zones. Still had to work when we go back to civvy street. And try to find housing.

I agree, to bung your mate a bit of cash you have made from Netflix paying you millions to make videos- totally based solely on merit, of course-so she can flog expensive coffee is quite a moving thing to witness

And for Oprah to be so impressed she tells all her followers!

Come on, there is nothing unsavoury here. That’s how start-ups work, through getting supporters to promote their products out there. That’s what a lot of venture capital support is about, using connections to grow. It is perfectly ethical, normal and legit

I don't think many venture capitalists will be lining up to fund a coffee business, it's not exactly a ground breaking idea and tbh I doubt having Meghan's name attached will make enough difference to make it very lucrative
