I am pleased that Harry and Meghan are making a success of things.

It’s been such an eventful year for everyone with uncertainty and being pulled out of our normal way of life. It’s good to see people who left what might be considered a “golden cage” and find a way to fly.

It gives me hope and confidence that even though we may not have connections and gorgeous looks, we can step out and do things differently and still be ok

Privacy is not the same as being a private person or an introvert and living in seclusion.

Everyone has different boundaries on what they want to share Eg, Some may be happy having their children on display, others may want privacy in that regard. Privacy is about respecting that right.

Yes, I’m sure that seeing two pampered hypocrites “stepping out there”into a £19 million mansion from whence they preach their sermons to the plebs is the inspiration we all need to “glimpse what is possible on the other side”. A truly humbling and beautiful sight.

I need to say sorry. I am an arse on no sleep (which is often). I have a 17 Hour day ahead of me and I’m a grump at the best of times and today is no exception. I would say I got out of the bed wrong side but I was never really in it.

This thread took my attention to the new podcast, so I did a little you tube'n & found the advert they made for it....
Harry's opening "ladies first" followed by MM with her "you say it..... nicerrrrr" and his faux manly 'sexy' purr back of the name of thier upcoming podcast... her flirtatious "well...."

Shes a clever lady, Harry is beyond infatuated with his wife, she knows 100% how to manipulate him to her advantage and you get the feeling harry will do anything as long as it pleases megs.

Hes not the brightest spark is he? And im sure he's absolutely head over heels for his wife, its just a shame they have not done what they claim and just gone private, they could just be happy.

Without a doubt megan is out for more and I fully agree with PP that she saw him coming. I can imagine in his own circles, the women didn't have to try so hard and openly critiqued him, where as I think MM has it down with her complimentary and suggestive way of getting H to do as she pleases. I dont for a second any of this is the brain child of Harry.

I have a streak no question. I’m not a sweetness and light kind of person but apologies were due I think - and I would like to state here and now that it was sod all to do with the happy brew

As for doing well for our campaign? Can you imagine padding across a white sandy beach and counting all our brew pennies arther ? While reality dawns with the massiv that they are partaking in the emperor’s new drink and have been drinking skinned feet?

I don’t know if I’m part of the problem/disease or the cure because
I can see myself listening to it.

Who are their target audience anyway ? I’ve heard them talk plenty of times it’s all "inspire, aim , be the change, shine ,and my favourite , the inspiration in you , most of the times their speech makes no sense. I’m 38 so words like shine within is just childish but then I just don’t see teens relating or even get motivated by what they do or say or whatever it is they actually do because we really don’t know what it is they are saying .

Also agree with pp, I cannot fathom who they are marketing the podcasts too, prehaps the younger upcoming generation (im only in my 30s, so actually cannot even understand this outlook? Prehaps I'm wrong?)

I think they are playing to a couple of audiences. One is the authentic tiktok type of vibe. We are just our normal, somewhat cheesy selves.

The other is the American desire for stories about redemption. Improbable romance, many roadblocks/adversities, finding your way by staying true to yourself and living happily ever after. It’s a powerful message. Here we like the underdog. There they like winners.

I did like her purry voice, It was well modulated. Just enough to bring some energy into it.

I think even the critics could see the difference and confidence/comfort with herself in her voice and said, with indignation, that she is emulating the queen 😂

Yeh, she's trying to talk and behave like a dignitary of some description. It's discombobulating. I don't know who they're audience will be either. They're too old to appeal to the young. They're not a rags to riches story either as it's just a riches to riches story. They are like a couple of first ladies assuming the world is looking to them to raise awareness or highlight some issue.
