What little bit of luxury do you have for every day?

I’d love to hear.

I love my cashmere snood/scarf. I’m a teacher and have to teach with the windows open at the moment so it keeps me warm and feels amazing. 💗

What do others have that is a little bit of luxury for every day?

Central heating
Electric blanket
As much food as I need/want
Buying what I want without worrying (within reason)
Being able to sit and do nothing for most of the weekend bar dog walks and horse care.

I am aware that I am extremely fortunately.

800 thread bed linen, preferably French. I put an old polycotton sheet on the bed last week and it felt incredibly uncomfortable.

Perfume

Beurre Bordiere - presently making do with Isigny Ste Mere from Waitrose.

@sparklingbrook my fave Molton Brown is rhubarb & rose - I've just ordered two, one for me & one for my lovely mum!, who would not in a million years spend £20 on hand wash but I know will love it 😊

Does Spotify count as a luxury? It improves my life so much.

Essential oils in a diffuser make my house always smell lovely. I use different oils for different things, e.g. sweet orange and frankincense for a lovely Christmassy smell, geranium lavender and tea tree for pilates.

We use bar soap for hand washing and I use it in the shower too, and always buy lovely soaps from a local very fancy garden centre. Current one is pink peppercorn and sandalwood.

Electric blanket (under my side of the bed only) so it's all toasty and lovely when I get in.

Wearing perfume every day. I have one which is my day time wear but I have a special occasion one which I sometimes wear in the daytime, or at bedtime, as it's comforting.

@Sparklingbrook

Can anyone recommend any of the other 'flavours' of Molton Brown anything? I have stuck with Black Peppercorn for years now as I love it so much. Maybe it's time for a change?

I have a little bone china tray with a bone china teapot, milk jug and cup. It is so pretty and I sweat the tea taste nicer out of it. It makes me smile everyday.

Similar to many: excellent coffee, perfume and skincare/body lotion every day.

I buy a lot of nice treat food from M&S.

Not feeling the Molton Brown love though, my sensitive skin hates anything MB, they are full of SLS and quite harsh and drying I find. Currently love some products with neroli oil from a little independent company I found at a market over the summer. Smell amazing!!

I also love notebooks and have quite a collection. Starting a crisp new notebook with a fancy pen is such a good feeling. Stationery in general is addictive.

May have to investigate posh bedding on all these recommendations!

I have a cappuccino in the morning made with my nespresso machine and eat breakfast off lovely Whittard brightly coloured plates, all different designs. I have expensive sheets on the bed, mostly bought off Ebay, but I love the feel of high thread count cotton.

A hot shower. Every time I have one I remind myself that so many people have no access to clean water. And here I am standing under a warm jet of it every say and it feels amazing. What a privilege.

@myhobbyisouting I think that was totally unnecessary and hurtful. Sad You’re not right for this thread but not because you don’t like those things.

This thread is about appreciating the little luxuries that we use everyday. It’s been heartwarming so far. There was absolutely no need for your comment rubbishing items that others take pleasure in. I feel sorry for you.

On a more positive note. One of my other luxuries is my dressing gown on the radiator for after my shower every morning. On a winter morning. So cosy. 💗

@Goingdooolally @myhobbyisouting that comment was totally unnecessary. Take your negativity elsewhere! OP was showing us something that makes her happy. FWIW I think the leggings are lush - really stylish and classy.

Some of the Morrison's version of Radox foam bath in my bath before bed.

Iv tried these and they are lovely. The smells are gorgeous. During the first lockdown I couldn’t get them, had to wait months till they got them in again

Is this the right bath stuff from Morrisons? I'm not really a bath person but fancy trying this when my muscles are sore.

Huge cashmere scarf that I got from TKMaxx. Nearly didn’t get it as it was expensive but have worn it every winter’s day for two years now. Chanel 19 Eau de Parfum.
